Rick Mercer is a comedian with a TV show here. This one is from 2012 This is from 2011 In this one he refers to President Mulroney which was actually one of our Prime Ministers
  2. Regrettably the reality is the kid is on their own on paper only. The parents provide financial support to their kid. They will just avoid paying for the tuition and let us pick up the tab that they can well afford if they skip buying the new boat for a couple of years.
  3. I've heard that one many times as well as MBA = More Bugger All and PHD = Piled Higher and Deeper. It tells your potential employer that you are intelligent, have the ability to learn and think analytically which opens the door. Then they hire you and teach you what you really need to know and how to do the job efficiently in an environment where time is money and efficiency counts.
  4. Isn't it great... we all get to pay for someone to get a university education. Just another dip into my pocket and everyone else. It used to be that you had to first be accepted into University or college and if you couldn't quite afford it there were student loans and grants depending on your financial situation. Now Wynnebag is throwing the door wide open and paying for those who can't afford it period. I know of one situation where the parents have a plan to save them paying. Rent an apartment for their kid and wait a year before going to university. Then the kid is now independent and living on their own and has an income well under $50K so the province will pick up the tab. Libtard Wynnebag sure likes to spend other peoples money rather than let them decide where to spend it.
  5. Lies all lies.... Sludgey says so. So what you are saying can't be true What do you think of the Expedition.... I have had pickups since 78 but am now toying with the idea of switching to an Expedition since at this time in my life I am finding I use it less and less for things like lumber or patio slabs but more for luggage etc. I am thinking if I ever need to load up bags of soil for the garden I put a tarp in the back of an Expedition

    Yup

That was Zoso when he dug up Fail's identity
  7. You didn't answer the question... compared to what when you made the comment Sure as hell pulls everything I want real well especially when you consider the wind drag on the 35' 7800 lb empty probably 8500 lb, loaded RV with an the roof being about 11' high X 8' front wall. I know I can pull out and pass doing a 100 kph and still feel it take off then blink and look down to see I'm in the range of 140 to 150 just passing the one car. Drove my neighbours brand new Chevy Silverado and it's sluggish in comparison.

Where did Perot get fired from....it sure wasn't Perot Systems.... he sold that to Michael Dell and still played a role in the operation going into their Plano Texas Campus daily as recent as 4 years ago when I met him there. Don't confuse him with facts.... we should all know by now that if you're referring to anything financial calculating HST on a purchase is tough for him

The only one who keeps coming out with stupidity is you Failmaker who ignores reality and only skims the surface of things like numbers with never truly understanding them. Take a day or two off from your pot for the head to clear and think back.... what happened in 2008... oh that's right... a global economic melt down that has been referred to by many economists (people who know more about this kind of thing than you could possibly fathom) as the most significant recession since the great depression of 1929. Gee global economic recession compared to the prosperous global times the others in your chart refer to. So there is root cause. Now another thing you selectively choose to ignore. Which of the countries in the world faired best through this global economic melt down. Oh that's right.... Canada. Who was the PM getting us through this global melt down.... oh that's right Stephen Harper Meanwhile True Dope still believes the budget will balance itself.... pose for another selfie True Dope while the country flounders and you flit around accomplishing nothing.
  10. Don't know where you get that. Compared to what? My 2011, ecoboost pulls all my trailers without problem. The hardest to pull would be the 35 ft RV that weighs in empty at 7800 lbs. down the line to the 5,000 lb boat on a tandem axle trailer, to the 2 horse trailer which with the horses is about 5,000 lbs followed by the enclosed hybrid sled trailer with the 2 - 4 stroke sleds. It has more get up and go than my 5.4L ever did. Pull out to pass, put the pedal down and with the twin turbo it just takes off. Overall fuel is about 25% less than the 5.4 was as well.

Let me guess... you voted for our buffoon True Dope. I have spoken to a number of people that voted for True Dope and now say what was I thinking.
  12. anyone of Dell laptop, Lenovo laptop, Dell desktop, IPAD, Android phone depending on where I am and what is handy.
  13. Just saw on the news that a guy is suing Hydro. His hydro was lost at the cottage near Kingston last October due to a fallen tree. http://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/ont-man-suing-over-electricity-charges-for-cottage-without-power-1.3061684 Last October, a tree fell on a power line leading to Kip Van Kempen’s cottage on Mazinaw Lake, north of Kingston, Ont. Hydro One crews came and cut the tree and disconnected the line but they were unable to repair the power line because of red tape and logistical issues. It took eight months for Hydro One to restore the electricity to the Ajax resident’s all-season cottage. When Van Kempen later received his electricity bill, he said he was stunned. “At that point the smoke was coming out my ears,” he told CTV Toronto. “If you’re not providing it (electricity) to the building, because you snipped the wires to the building, then you’re not delivering it. How can you charge a delivery charge?” Hydro One charged Van Kempen hundreds of dollars in delivery fees for the months his cottage was without electricity. The bill even shows his electricity usage per day during those months as zero. The delays in restoring power to the cottage were due in part to the lack of accessibility. Van Kempen’s cottage is only accessible by ATV or boat. He said he tried repeatedly, for months, to make repairs and secure the inspections needed to reconnect the power.
  14. Too bad we can't use the running water to generate electricity more than we do.
  15. I just said that Blackstar pointed out that they sold out Kitchener which isn't I don't imagine a huge venue. He also mentioned that they played the ACC but HE didn't make any mention of them selling out the ACC. Since I don't care for their music I don't particularly follow when or where their concerts are or whether they sell out ACC. Anyone that would pay $2k a pair for a concert has way too much money.
  16. Bimonthly for hydro for June/July was $293 even though we spent most of those months at the lake and the air conditioning was off when we weren't there. Stove and water heater are gas. Most evenings there is one TV and one light bulb on in the living room and the rec room.
  17. Obviously you are one of the people that like their music. To each their own. The band itself capitalized on his unfortunate illness and prognosis. He made an announcement about his tragic situation dragging his condition into it himself and then announced they would be going on one last tour. Do you really think the demand for tickets would have been anywhere close to the levels they were if not for his announcement. Even with that Vancouver tickets were being sold for $39. i feel for him and his family but reality is they pulled in a lot more money from ticket sales and rights sold than they would have had he not announced his illness beforehand. Do you really think True Dope would have been in Kingston otherwise. Blackstar mentioned they sold out Kitchener and played ACC but didn't say that ACC was a sell out. Yes they are successful, yes they have a following of faithful fans. I am just not buying into the greatest thing to hit music like some here would suggest.
  18. With my last hydro bill there was a notice to expect the billing to change from bimonthly to monthly. Good smoke screen on the part of Wynnebag. The bimonthly bill has doubled. By going monthly the amount due will be about what it used to be each time only now it will come 12 times a year instead of 6
  19. It's the one that a lot of people are being very vocal about as it is hitting virtually everyone More than 8 per cent of Ontario households were in arrears with their electricity bills at the end of 2015, owing more than $172.5 million. The Ontario Energy Board reports 566,902 homes were in arrears last year
  20. But it's for the children.... It's net zero.... It will only cost a tiny bit more in the short term but save lots in the long term. My hydro bill has basically doubled from what it was the same time 4 or 5 years ago even though we haven't been home much this summer.
  21. the chickens are coming home to roost and Wynnebag is maybe just maybe starting to realize people are pissed with her pissing away $B's on needless waste
  22. I'm not a fan of their music either. Some people make out like they were the greatest band ever. If Gord Downie wasn't terminally ill they wouldn't fill a small town hockey arena. October 2014 they had a free outdoor concert in downtown Toronto (Yonge / Dundas Square) It's a really small venue for a concert. Other insignificant events have drawn as many as or more people in the same space. Their final tour this summer saw ticket prices for their Vancouver show drop as low as $39. http://bc.ctvnews.ca/tragically-hip-tickets-price-drop-dramatically-for-vancouver-show-1.2999872 I spent more than that for a play in Penetanguishene this summer.
  23. Hilarious as usual.... but why expect anything else.
