  1. Most of those moorages are busy at the best of times. I can't imagine what it well be like this year. You missed Bone island it is always busy.
  2. Anyone have experience with a frozen septic bed? The frost has gone deeper last night than it was all year. I have been trying to force hot water in with limited success. But 40 gallons doesn't last long. I think my solution is to pump effluent into the bush. The pump chamber is on the exit side of the tank and the water is just a little worse than grey water.I could also pump into an unused underground gas tank but concerned about pump out.It was emptied but still could have residue.I think I'm fubared for the near future.
  3. Why would they truck it? Too expensive to air ship? Is 747 only plane to hang one on the wing to get it there?
  4. Could see a pool as well.

  6. Where did you get that quote? Iv'e seen pics of race officials turning the barrel pump. So Lee's boyfriend just happen to take an SLR quality photo just at the right time.in the middle of nowhere. At the precise time of the infraction.I said something stinks and it's getting smellier.
  7. I think the tracks are in concrete,so no bumpity bump but you still have to strattle the rail. Not the fist time this has happened.

  9. Some as elsewhere as well.I was involved in the old I-500 and helped some guys in the Hurricanna.Tell me about politics in a big race. What I found was the racers where all on the same page. the officials not so much. The guys out in the field are great to the most part, the others well? they have biased and other influences and want to be security guards at the mall so to speak. Not talking away from there good work, but I don't know how things work in Alaska.
  10. Something is funny,Where are all the pics of the other teams fueling on the river. Only one. Taken with a good camera. I'm not denying some rules were bent,But there is way more to this story. I honestly hope it comes out and maybe Tom can help with that.
  11. First thing I thought of-----Thats Frankie out there. Looks like him too.
  12. Are you sure about that? I thought that through the race no outside help was allowed Just because rule 13. whatever specifically applies to Ruby-tannna.

  17. Oh I had a funny today,Got to tell a cop where to go.He was blocking are road and my uninsured unlicensed plow truck that doesn,t really have reverse. He was very apologetic and skidded that piece of crap dodge thing he was driiving down the hwy.

  19. Not worried about the fine on the rail crossing it's the train that hurts. The xing is only accessible in the winter--barely. So when does ice become water in the technical scence? Our 2 older labs get better with age.Good to hear Rupert is looking after you.
  20. Couple of things you could answer? Railway crossing, what is the fine for crossing a rail track. We have an shittty situation where we pay for the x but they took it out with maintenance. In the course of trail opening we discovered this. I know how to get across, listen to rail,3 people. What regs apply to a tracked Argo. Lake, closed trail on crown land? How is Rubert doing.
  21. Cats need easy access panels, glad they looked after that one.
  22. I don't know how you do the Barrie-Pearson drive everyday.I'd kill myself. Retirement in site?
  23. I'm not sure where do your snowmaching. But in my 48 years on a sled I have been asked ONCE for papers.Thousands and more thousands of klicks.Sean is just doing his job. He was hired to uphold the laws,he didn't make them. That was you and me that voted in present and previous governments.Ya I don't like it either but it is what it is.Maybe you could laminate your documentation, stick it on your windshield drive to front of the LINEUPS.
