This shouldn't be as big of a deal as most people know what email address that they used to register. Username and email logins have both been an option for a while now. I'm sure that there will be a workaround of some sort before we even upgrade here. From what I have been reading the software is in Alfa stages now with some invited guests currently testing it out.

You can develop a workaround to keep things as they are. Most hate change after doing it this way for years
