snowstorm
there is a story on hard working truck. about tesla and there big truck. according to a ex gm big wig at this rate tesla will last only a yr or so. if someone really wanted a big battery powered truck. cummins and navistar are on it. and offering a 6.7 in it to charge the battery. they dont intend it to be a otr truck more city pd. as far as trucks from europe burning less fuel. why would they they have the same power train as us trucks. the fact that a lot are 4x2 helps the cabover dose not. a benz here as far as power train is mb detriot. pete is paccar daff. ih now tied in with vw includes mann and scandia. volvo mack is volvo. volvo is using turbo compounding to recover what energy used to go up the stack. cat had a twin turbo the accert it put them out of the truck biz. ih had the 6.4 now gone. engine size has come down some. fleets run 11 to 13 L virus 14 15. 14mpg? would be nice i have read of tests that got 10 to 12 but it was in the swest flat ground loaded lite every add on there was. east coast fleet avg 6.5 mpg and thats pretty good
