Platinum Contributing Member Blackstar Posted March 11 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted March 11 I've got a 2015 ZR9000 LXR and I've never had the shocks serviced because I thought they were non-rebuildable. Anybody know for sure? I've decided to keep the sled as a spare. Maybe its worth throwing some decent shocks on it.

Probably not worth shipping from Canada. There are some local shock guys here I can deal with. At those prices, its probably worth replacing them. mnstang
They are serviceable and anyone who does shocks can do them it's nothing special. It's just cleaning them out and filling with nitrogen and new oil. Typically is around 30-35$ per shock for basic maintenance service. It's worth doing to keep them working well and make them last longer too. racinfarmer
2015 LXR shocks are 100% rebuildable. Had 2 sets down a year or two ago. Think I paid $50 or so a shock from the guy I used. 10k on one set, he said those stunk up the whole shop.
