LXR Shock Rebuild

I've got a 2015 ZR9000 LXR and I've never had the shocks serviced because I thought they were non-rebuildable.

Anybody know for sure?

I've decided to keep the sled as a spare. Maybe its worth throwing some decent shocks on it.

some used and serviced RR shocks would give you a much nicer ride and adjustability... or upgrade to the QS3 rear https://www.countrycat.com/arctic-cat-3704-252-fox-zero-qs3-rear-arm-shock-2014-2024-xf-zr-137-inch

Thanks.

Probably not worth shipping from Canada. There are some local shock guys here I can deal with. At those prices, its probably worth replacing them.

Looking up those shocks in Canada, they are $242/each. :smack:

They are serviceable and anyone who does shocks can do them it's nothing special.   It's just cleaning them out and filling with nitrogen and new oil.  Typically is around 30-35$ per shock for basic maintenance service.  It's worth doing to keep them working well and make them last longer too.

2015 LXR shocks are 100% rebuildable.  Had 2 sets down a year or two ago.

Think I paid $50 or so a shock from the guy I used.  10k on one set, he said those stunk up the whole shop.
