The fact you don't see the flaw in that stat is telling.

That it goes against your narrative?

education doesn't correspond to intelligenc. This has been know for a long time.

the education system rewards conformity not innovation. If you do very well in school it doesn't mean you will become a millionaire. It actually tends to mean the opposite.

Not all education is from a formal institutional setting and some of the best education isn't :) that is  a fact

Exactly. And not being able to see that is sheep like behaviour

Congrats on learning how to identify logical fallacies, but your application of them is lacking. You would have learned that if you didn't "struggle" in high school.

Why are you upset?

The fact you can't see your flaws in logic is outstanding considering the topic and where you would have learned that...

You mean the logic backed up by an actual study?

well here is a fact that actually agrees with your notion, somewhat. i did awful in HS, absolutely awful. but i turned shit around, had to take some basic science courses, then go into college p/t, without a major, and do well before i got into the EE program. i did it and i live an exciting, rewarding life. now in another situation, we just had a co-op here at work, who was the valedictorian of her class, and she was very smart and will go far.

your study is bogus, sludgey.

You just don't believe in science.

valedictorians do well at having a good job. Not at becoming big success stories.

 you don't think a lot of other people could do the same with that, and all the other help he's had?

You certainly couldn't

Cliff notes:

succeeding in school doesn't necessarily correspond with intelligence

it can mean that you'll make a comfortable life but less likely to really succeed

higher intellects tend to struggle with the confines of high school

school tends to reward conformity, not innovation and out of the box thinking.

Any questions?
