Man Western Alaska is full of used outboards, the natives just leave shit laying around. Half the time they dont even try to fix the engine. Me and a buddy were joking about buying a landing craft and a barge and scooping up all the junk used outboards and fixing what we could and parting out the rest. Gotta be some $$ in that.

Yup, I seen the same think while working in Iqaluit. Beautiful large Honda outboards still attached to boats, and frozen in the ice in the bays. I just shake my head. Lots of dead 4 wheelers parked in front of everyones yard, and they all seem to be used for pick a part, and pay me later. LOL  It is very easy to see that free stuff given to them by our government is not appreciated one little bit.

Couldn't agree more!! Cradle to grave free shit and they still think we are the white devils. And don't get me started on the whole notion of the native being the good steward of the land!! They leave trash and broken down equipment right where it is until that shit rusts away into the tundra or get carried away by the tides.
