V belt question.

Recommended Posts

Doing a tuneup on a late “90’s Troy-Buit snowblower. 8hp Tecumseh. The thing weighs over 300 pounds, but it’s in great shape. Is it ok to use the notched style v belts in place of a unnotched? The notched is all I can find for the right sizes. I’m thinking it’ll be fine.

check all the bearings and pulleys first though, then test it
