Poncho
My brother did the north thing as well. He flew out of Flin Flon for a local operator up there. Good experience.

Sksman
While on a trip to Fiji my wife and i were in a float plane going out to an island. The pilot was a bush pilot from Northern Quebec that had gone down to help a friend cover some flights while a pilot was off. He was there for 6 years when we met him. Pretty good pilot taking off and landing in 3 foot waves.
02sled
A friend of ours son is a helicopter pilot. He works for the oil companies in Alberta and owns his helicopter rather than just fly for someone else. He says he has one of those jobs that you don't call work and wouldn't do anything else. Puzzleboy
The beauty of the college courses USED to be, that the tuition & fees were comparable to any other college course. I'm guessing that's all changed now.
