And now what was the Semi driver doing that he didn't see the disabled vehicle??

Voodoo
The overall quality of truck drivers has diminished greatly in the last number of years IMO. That highway looks to be virtually empty? I see no excuse for rear ending a disabled vehicle. That said, I almost nailed a car driver this morning, after leaving a jobsite. Would have hit the drivers side, and my front bumper and pump assembly are at just about head level for a car. She had a stop sign, I did not. I watched her get to the intersection and not even stop or look left. If I had not been paying attention and knew she was about to do something stupid I'd have hit her. She's lucky I was unloaded and maybe doing 30 mph when I hammered on the brakes. There was oncoming traffic, and her car ate up the hard right option, so evasion was not going to happen.
