Sun / Ozone, salt, rain, heat, mice, critters all accelerate the decay of a sled. Have tried the house cellar, parked between the cars in garage, shed, new addition to shed, a blue tarp nailed to the shed making a tent, new barn , and finally made ramps + drive sleds into second floor.
