Then there's the part they try to hide. Drunk, drugs, abuse, crime. It's pretty awful. Our Rez lies in QC on the river that is the Quebec/ NB border. They play both provinces and are one of the better off Rez in Canada. Some say the richest Rez in Canada. I've been to many parties in my younger day. What’s really amazing is the corruption in their own people. Plenty of casinos banking around here and supposed to be helping out their people but, just more theft and corrupt activities. They stay private in these matters for a good reason. Last little nugget was fed millions alloted to some big Indian contractors to fix up the rez homes that are exactly what we’ve come to expect. Over here the rez had new housing built with wood stoves for heat, the 1st winter most houses had the trim and cabinet doors pulled off and burned. 2nd phase they installed electric boilers with solar panels.
