So for 8 years people cried and bitched about the debt, and the GM bailout, then a guy comes along who outspends the previous admin. last 4 years in 3 and spends more on the farm bailout than the GM bailout, then nearly outspends in 4 years what the previous admins. spent in 8. So given the choice between the VP. who was part of the 2nd highest spending admin., or the Pres. who spent the most, or somebody different, people choose to do the same thing and expect a different outcome.
