I'm not sure they will actually use that money for more officers, that's not what the city council has been asking for from what I've heard since May. DAMN!!!! They can take a punch to the face. Took three officers to pull this animal off her , after they tazed him. Even when they were kicking down the door he didn’t stop t-ing off on her face. Minneapolis approved an additional 6.4 million to get new officers. Crime has gone up greatly and not enough officers to respond to 911 calls anymore. Mag6240 Posted February 16, 2021 Share Posted February 16, 2021 Yeah I’ve seen the numbers on crime soaring, just didn’t think the City Council was on board with more officers as the police chief has been begging for. Someone must have gotten to them, and said STFU, your getting more officers. Just not sure who would want to be an officer in that environment right now.
