Cyberhack looks like act of war

Recommended Posts

Looks Vlad got a shitload of corporate, military, banking, and political intelligence. Hopefully he’ll use it well. The trump guys were fast asleep. Can’t help but wonder if the constant turmoil and chaos of the trump administration opened the door. Sounds catastrophic.

So, an "outside" agency hacks into a company that provides monitoring and security services to large and important clients that include government agencies.

That agency then implants malicious code into said company's software update enabling it to bypass any added security the clients have installed as a trusted update.

Yup, sounds like the administration is at fault and the company is not to blame.

Combination of 18,000 companies and government agencies are hacked going back as far as March. And this is exclusively a problem of private industry? Why even have CISA? What’s their their role? Do they even do anything. Trump created that agency. And where is he on all this? Not even a peep. He has time to tweet.

It's exclusively the problem of the company that produced the software. They produced the software which was exploited, they screwed the pooch by allowing the hackers to gain access. They allowed the malicious code to be sent out in an update, nice quality control and security from a company that is supposed to be providing protection by selling network monitoring software.

Maybe you should go back to your spin name cause you shure are spinning this.

In other words trump created a useless government agency that was meant to prevent an attack such as this. Thanks for clearing this up.

This is funny, I bet china gets the open door from biden.

  • Promising to impose "substantial costs" on the perpetrator, Biden said in a statement that his administration "will make cybersecurity a top priority": "I will not stand idly by in the face of cyber assaults on our nation."

Maybe under Biden the trade deficit with China might shrink.
