There was plenty of pressure from both sides to shut down that deal. I'm a big fan of fiscal responsibility. I'm not a fan of how. Politicians like to throw gobs of money at popular ideas that win votes. That same money goes into the trash when the idea isn't a vote grabber. The H1N1 stockpile was truly amazing. You would be amazed to learn where that went. Closer teams are efficient at doing what they do. Short term solutions to long term issues cost a butt load of money.
