I didn't know that but the 2 I seen were pretty flat from being run over multiple times, likely. There is a difference. The Opossums carry their young in their bellies like Kangaroos and are marsupials. Possums are different. There are many varieties of possums, including Gliders and Cuscus, while the opossum is a more limited species.
