Anler
They are going to tax everything. Commercial property tax is going up, they passed a progressive income tax, look for a fuel or mileage tax, and other ancillary taxes like marijuana, plastic bag tax and whatever else they can think of. Illinois is a big pile of shit and moving out of that shithole state was one of the smartest moves I ever made.
hwytohell
A longtime family friend has owned a motorsport facility in Illinois for decades , they are still making a good profit, but it has been for sale for over three years . The tax / fee / regulation burden is really getting to them , plus their children have zero interest in ownership at this time. They have turned the sale over to a very specialized motorsports real estate group in January.

I don't know if it's the business environment or the market.
Zambroski
Our new libtard Gov. is proposing all kinds of taxes including a 20 cent per gallon tax on fuel. So far, has proposed zero government spending cut backs. The R’s in charge (thank god) are laughing at his dumb ass...well, just shaking their heads. They don’t even have 2 stroke oil or carbides in stock. Wtf?
Gold Member BOHICA Posted February 23, 2019 Gold Member Share Posted February 23, 2019 Retirees should have to pay social security tax on the amount of there social security checks to shore up social security.... maybe just the individual 6.2 percent and not the full 12.4. Michigan residents got fucked over on the last taxation / vehicle fee increase. Agree on hybrids , they also need to have a non - motorized tax / fee , for the wants of those public road users.
