Platinum Contributing Member Highmark Posted February 23, 2018 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted February 23, 2018 For at least handguns many states already have the purchase age at 21. Personally I'd like to see voting, drinking, firearms purchasing and military service at 18 but anything that is 21 or changed to 21 should be 18 for those serving in the military. You want to serve in the military you can drink at 18 or buy guns at 18. SUMMARY OF STATE LAW Several states and the District of Columbia impose minimum age requirements that extend beyond those contained in federal law. Those laws generally fall into four categories: Laws imposing a stricter minimum age for handgun purchases than federal law; Laws imposing a minimum age for all long gun purchases, from licensed or unlicensed sellers; Laws imposing age requirements for possession of handguns that are stricter than federal law; and Laws imposing a minimum age for possession of long guns. Additional information about laws preventing child access to firearms is included in our summary on Child Access Prevention. f7ben
Why in the sweet fuck would we lower the age for anything if you are in the military being brainwashed to be a pawn. I dont think anyone dumb enough to enlist at 18 should be able to drink or buy a gun ever

I think I should change my stance to ANYONE who has seen a doctor for mental issues not be allowed to own guns. If we were taking a poll of the people on here you would be at the top of the list to go on a mass shooting. Right after the tranny from Alaska. You two do remind me of each other. Momorider
I always thought the 21 thing in the US was retarded, you used to be able to drink here at 18 its now 19, there is nothing that you have to wait to be 21 to do except rent a car I think. spin_dry
Join the military and become entitled to special treatment. Fucking ridiculous. More bulging neck vein patriotic correctness. It’s laughable.
