  1. Even tho the front bumper is off it's easy to know what it is
  2. I grew up in the era when a late night cruise turned into squaring off a set of lights or going to one of the hotspot burger joints where everybody hung out. It was American Graffiti, two lane blacktop and so forth back then. For us old guys that was a good time growing up.
  3. If I was younger I'd order a new 70 Chevelle body by Dynacorn, new custom upgraded frame/suspension, LS motor etc etc and build the car the way I'd want it to be. I can't fathom paying a big $ for a true SS car that's 50yrs old that I could've bought new back in the day.
  4. I like the old cars. I'm working on this Vette in my spare time. I'm hoping to have it all done by next spring
  5. They're all lined up at the liquor store lol.
  6. The Liberals thought it was in the bag here in Nova Scotia. Surprise surprise
  7. It's a tough pill to swallow when a park tells you what you can do. We lucked out on the property down here. You can put a trailer, build a bunkie or whatever on it and a shed can be 300sq ft. It's $232/year for property tax and I think $100-200/ year for road maintenance which will probably be on our next tax bill
  8. We took the coach in for service before we left. They put in a new element( elec), fixed a kinked line to the hot water tank, new water pump, replaced two vent covers,a new maxxair, oil/filter and a genny service, two stabilizer bushings all for $1100. We're waiting for hydro to run the lines and do our hookup and then we wont rely on the genny and propane.
  9. Thanks Dale.Damn price of wood is cutting into my beer money lol. We have to pick up our pontoon in Sudbury after Labour Day,stay home for two weeks then back down till Thanksgiving.
  10. Our new walkway/dock and have to add the 4x4 posts/rope and solar lights. Plenty of room to relax with a cold beverage
  11. It's quite the ordeal to find a family Doctor here as well.
  12. More Liberal signs on the lawns in Newfie Scotia. Dumb fucks are blinded by the hatred for some of the PC candidates
  13. PEI is doing the same as NB. We're in NS and it would be nice if they follow suit soon.
  14. A Canadian navy ship stopped in an Iceland port and a bunch of them went to a bar. The 250 on board had double vaccinations and on their way back 2 cases showed up as positive. They all had to self isolate and had 7 tests showing neg results.
  15. Visited for 9-10 years and bought the lot back in April.
  16. Thanks Dale! The area is beautiful, ocean 5 min away and close to town to shop.
  17. We've been coming here for 9-10 years on a regular basis and my brother was in the valley for at least 35 years. If the prices of lumber comes down we want to build on our lot. Just waiting for the dock to get finished for the pontoon
  18. We are here for at least another month or two. No big hurry to go home
  19. This is our 2nd trip down here with it. We are on Fox Point Lake just outside of Hubbards. Where you heading?
  20. 2006 Georgetown 387 with 60K kms
  21. The wife and I had a Fleetwood 29ft travel trailer then bought a Fleetwood Triumph 30.5ft 5th. Overall in 20 years we never had any real issues other than a water pump or two and an invertor that was fixed under warranty. We're glamping now on an acre lot we bought and partially cleared. With the two opposite slides in the living room and one in the bedroom we're quite comfy. We're waiting for hydro to put a pole in and hook up to the panel and water we draw from the lake for showers and dishes.
