  1. It it's the last thing i want to do. I got some all natural herbal stuff as well I might try first but I need time to get a fence up
  2. So we went to an off leash dog park this morning. We were a little nervous as she doesn't always listen to commands. She was unbelievably well-behaved. Would not run with the other dogs. She just kept about 50 feet away from us and would stop and wait if we got too far back, she was just happy to be there. She didn't bark at any other dog. Great with all the other people. Picked up a prescription for anti anxiety meds and going to fence off a portion of our yard for her and see how that works
  3. Bahahahahaha you are such a meat head.
  4. Lmao photos are not chopped in any way.
  5. Tried the crate. Put that to shame the first day
  6. This is her right now and has been since I got home and took her for a walk
  7. Totally fine when we are around. It is almost like she is terrified to be alone
  8. Well I got home and she didn't get out but she was getting close. Have a vet appointment tomorrow morning for a once over and maybe some help with the anxiety
  9. Ya I am not worried about the time, more or less her hurting herself in the process
  10. Ok. The other half left something as well. Hopefully it does something. It is hard to believe that a dog that is unbelievably calm when you are around can go so ballistic when you leave
  11. Well the other half left the dog in the barn and she is apparently going nuts. She went back inside and sat on the dogs bed and the dog came right over and sat with her. So basically it is not a space issue it is seperation anxiety. Does anyone have any tips or possible solutions?
  12. Well the first night went ok. She paced a lot and lots of heavy breathing. At first we tried to keep her in a crate close to our bedroom but she would have none of that. So we tried with her crate in the bedroom, also she had different plans with that as well. So she was free in our bedroom but I don't think anyone got much sleep. Yesterday, her first day alone while we went to work was not so good. We put her in her crate as the shelter told us she did some remodeling at her last home. My bil came by the house to check on her and found some damage. She managed to bend her crate so she could get out. Made her way to the bedroom, chewed and destroyed one set of bilnds. Made her way to the living room and made some adjustments to the curtains and a screen. Then went to the kitchen "fixed" a set of blinds in there. And the most impressive thing she did was she was able to unlock the dead bolt to the front door but for some reason just wasn't able to turn the door knob enough and not for lack of trying. But never shit or pissed anywhere, did not touch the garbage. The only food it messed with was her milk bone treats and beggin strip treats. She just opened them up, did not eat them. We cleaned out our storage barn shed some she has a 10x8 room that she can do what ever she likes till we get home. Last night after we cleaned up, we put up all the all the remaining blinds, moved all the curtains out of the way and left her in the living room and went to bed. When my alarm went off this morning she was sleeping becide the bed. Then she woke up all smiles and tail wagging waiting for us to take her outside. Not a single thing was touched. Basically the perfect dog.
  13. Very hesitant to get in the car but once in, no issues. Still very shy. She was in the shelter since the end of August. They kept here in the back as she can open round door handles and has the teeth issues to prove it lol. But she never got much exposure to the public as you had to ask for her specifically. Not a huge fan of walking the direction you want to go. She will go along with it for a little bit then fuck you lol
  14. Well it is official. We are dog owners
  15. Well we are going to the shelter in a little bit. Will report back with more info
  16. Now it says this dog is apparently is not a big indoor dog. But I like to be able to leave the dog at home and not worry. Have sleep inside at night. Not a huge fan of strictly outdoor dogs
  17. Looking for opinions on getting a dog from the shelter. The other half and I are thinking about but not sure on getting a dog. We like the idea but there is a lot of variables involved and a shelter dog just puts those through the roof. I was hoping for some experiences and knowledge on the subject. Here is the dog in question. Now I didn't take these photos and I have never seen the dog in person. These are taken by my peer pressuring bil and sil.
  18. Fired it up last night and took it for a rip sound the yard. Can hardly wait.
  19. I was in boy scouts as a kid. Was in it for 12 years. In the older age group round 14 years old I think (it has been a long time) we had a couple of girls in our group as the girl guides got screwed over because they were not allowed to do half the cool shit the guys got to do. The girl guides were more Suzy homemaker things and the boy scouts was way more camping and outdoor activities
  20. Yes, you were right. Thanks. It looked symmetrical but apparently not.
  21. Does anyone know if you can put in 2009 M8 lower a arms upside down? I am trying to put my spindle on but if the upper a arm is bolted, the lower one won't line up to the spindle and vice versa?
