  1. Why is that? Like I said earlier, I am totally new to atvs
  2. I know the people that have owned it since new. It has will have 16 hrs or very close to it. I really hope I can sell my sled for what I want. It will be nice to go riding whenever I want and not so weather dependent. I am getting real tired of looking at my sled out in the shed and not being able to go for a ride.

  4. Well the plot kind of thickens. I have a friend in Ontario, the same guy in the banshee story. I told him I was looking at buying a banshee out here in Alberta. He says he has a 2008? Last year of the banshee that he is selling. It is the black and orange one. My favorite colours. Has all kinds of upgrades and bumpers and things. Apparently it was a $12000 machine leaving the dealership. Only has 16 hours on it. Never been touched or rebuilt. Tells me that for $4000 it is mine and he will drive it out west for me as he was planning on driving out in the spring anyways. So now I really need to sell my ditch pickle lol.
  5. Well it maybe kind of silly but the main reason I want a banshee is when I was around 10 years old I had a friend who was in his twentys (worked for my dad so not that creepy lol) and he had a banshee. He took me for a ride and I have never been so scared in my life. Ever since that moment I have wanted one. Also the buddy I would be buying one off of builds and mods them in his spare time and he is currently building a nice stock one right now to sell and said he would give me a bit of a deal from what he needs sells them at.
  6. Ya I figured. My plan is to try and get 3500 out of the M8 and buy a banshee of a friend.
  7. Edit: nevermind. Turns out they wanted me to put $2000 plus my sled. No deal. Well I am trying to sell/trade my 09 M8 for an atv. I know next to nothing about ATVs. I have a person offering a 2012 can am xmr 800. This is the info she sent in the texts 2012 XMR 800 Hmf exhaust, optimizer Air suspension 30’Gorillas on 14s Engine hrs are on the pics Winch Side panels are off but I have them put away. I did the wheel bearing all around last spring. & my brother got all the seals and new covers & cleaned up the clutches 2 years ago
  8. This is 30 mins west of Edmonton right now. About 3 inches of snow and was -30*c this morning
  9. This is Canadian pricing Apparently xrs front shocks, x package rear shocks Also my 2007 IQ 600 CFI was marketed with 125 hp
  10. Horse and cattle. And not sure. They aren't right becide me but down the road a bit
  11. I believe a minimum of 10 years, maybe more.
  12. I will be shocking my well but they told me I had to wait till the weather was consistently above 0*c
  13. It wouldn't bother me so much either but it slows the taps and will eventually ruin the washing machine. We don't have a dishwasher but would like one so another reason to put a water softener in
  14. My well is supposedly only a few years old as the old one was apparently struck by lightning. My septic tank is also supposedly 4 years old. I live in farm country with a lot of marshy lakes around.
  15. They are not that cheap here

  18. According to the realtor I used when I bought the house, my pump is 240 feet down. The store sells the old mechanical timer ones as they never break apparently. Found a brine tank and resin? Tank for 150 but needs a metering valve. called the store and the metering valves range from 600-900. https://www.kijiji.ca/v-other-home-appliance/edmonton/water-softener/1307843849?utm_source=com.android.mms&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=socialbuttonsVIP&utm_content=app_android
  19. Yes, that is why I started looking at used ones
  20. Just checked and a 44lbs bag is 6.50 cad
  21. Ya. The smell is bacteria and I need to pump some chemicals into it. I just called the store back and they said the softener was an econominder and required salt. They want $1600 cad for it and I install it myself.
  22. I buy bottles as my well water is terrible. I also have a sediment filter and use 20 micron filters.
  23. My system currently has a sediment filter and according to the water store my iron is not that bad.
