  1. Starting to see little snowflakes mixed in with the drizzle.
  2. I guy out here in Alberta is asking $3000 cad for a 2006 Polaris 500 classic. Has the Fuji 488 and 15,000 miles on it
  3. 41°f this morning with some wonderful rain. Calling for possible flurries Wednesday.
  4. Does anyone know if it is possible to limit a sleds power, specifically the 700 cfi for a inexperienced rider?
  5. I like how the only bad form of rally cross is rallying a Subaru lmao!
  6. Frost on the car this morning. Calling for a possible chance of snow in the flat lands of Alberta in the next 10 days. Not quite as far east as Edmonton but still east of the mountains.
  7. Have a buddy that bought a 09 dragon sp 800. That thing was a weapon. With 144 studs, it would pick up and dangle the skis and fuck off at 70 mph. Never left him stranded. The numbskull even took it water crossing and sunk it. Ran mint. Even the dealer was dumb founded with how amazing it was. Right up until one of his inexperienced buddies crashed into him and wrote of both machines.
  8. Sorry about the quality of these pictures. It was hard to take a picture of shiny paper without a shit ton of glare. This is what Polaris had to say about the 700 and the Dragon package in 2007
  9. Polaris claims 140 hp for the 700 and 125 hp for the 600 in 2008. Claims and actual numbers are a little different lol
  10. Will do. Kinda nice to have it for the first of September. Lots of time to get it ready to ride.
  11. I was looking at that. Seems the fuel filter is a stupid design. Unclips close to the filter on the one side the a long hose that goes to the tank on the other
  12. Just to give you a heads up, apparently there is a common issue with the intake boots leaking on these things. This one was idling around 2200-2300. Should be around 1700-1800. Turns out mine is the same lol.
  13. Thanks! This thing is in way better shape than that cfr1000. Two owner machine. Even got the original owners manual. Well taken care of. This will be my thrid IQ. I owned a 07 600cfi and a 2010 dragon switchback 600cfi. I love the chassis. Helps that I also think it is one of the best looking sleds on snow lol.
  14. Well snacks, it looks like you and I might be in the same boat.... I am currently in the vehicle with this in tow
  15. Sled was not worth it. The hood was destroyed not just cracked. It has been sitting outside for a decade. Covered in leaves and spiders and shit. Rust everywhere. He also had the guage in miles not kms like he told me. So it had 12xx kms not 750. He didn't even know the gauge could swap the units. He wouldn't go lower than $2500 because he paid $4000 3 years ago and rode it 3 times. To me it seemed like a $1500 sled. It needed about a grand or so worth of work. It was never serviced.
  16. 41*f here this morning and won't get above 66*f all weekend
  17. Going to look at this tonight. Hopefully come home with it. 2007 with 750 kms (466 miles), $2500 cad ($2000 usd)
  18. Well I found a 2007 CFR 1000. Apparently it hurt the original owner so a family member bought it. Has a cracked hood but comes with a replacement hood that needs paint and the holes cut and a cover for it. It only has 750 kms. He has it listed for $3000 and I asked him if he was firm. Said he would take $2500. I am not really sure I want a 1000 but everything else is pretty sweet.
  19. Snow in Canmore Alberta yesterday. It has been single digits every morning for the last week or so out around Edmonton.
