  1. For sure. I have a local store that is closing in on 1,000 bottles for just this year, another sold out of bbq in 2 days (farm mkt).....so the stores that are open are killing it so far. Gambling on the spices was a very risky thing to do at the time, so lets hope that pays off, because that was about a $23,000 risk I didn't have to take.
  2. This shutdown will cost me 50k at least....and we are small fish really. Ill survive, but I'll bet that 50-60% die off. In some ways it will be a cleansing like what we saw in 2008-2009 and the strong "may" survive. Its going to be a different world and luckily for us we started the BBQ and rub end of things as that is carrying us.
  3. I will! I am trying to get empty packaging and put my blends in them for pics. Trying to get a head start on the promo part. I'm going to snap a few pics for the shelf talkers and sales sheet.
  4. They should be blending today and bottling at the start of tomorrow. I'm still gunning for May 1st for release. Here is the progression on some ribs last night LOL.
  5. Well......are you going to order some????
  6. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-updates/cases-in-us.html About 2/3 of the way down there is the graph that lists out "new" cases by start date of symptoms. Lets hope that baby stays leveled off. This is been my go to chart the past few days. Cases in U.S. _ CDC.html
  7. Interesting that a bunch of us all had the same thing........ FTR I never get the flu, nor do I get a flu shot and this was confirmed neither Type A or B.
  8. Yeah no shit....an autoimmune issued during Covid. Plus was are essential so I'm still working.
  9. That's weird...... I wonder what that is all about?? As of today my arms are healed, legs, and my torso has just faint splotches left. I was using some sort of script cream that had coal tar mixed in it. I smelled like diesel fuel....god love my wife for putting it on. Local pharmacy had the strongest CBD cream that you could get, and I was doing light therapy. I don't use any of the cream now and the good news is that I'm almost done with the light, and I have a BITCHING tan now. I should only have 10-12 more light treatments to do and it should be gone and never come back. It is a really rare form of Psoriasis and doesn't stay with you like the normal plaque psoriasis. Completely different
  10. So a month after I was sick, I got these little teardrop sized red spots on my stomach. I thought it was hives from the wife switching my body wash. I called my DR after 4-5 days and asked him for prednisone. He called me in a script and told me to call in a week if they didn't get better. Fast-forward a week and they are still spreading...... I go in and he doesn't know what the fuck I have. Tests me for all kinds of auto-immune things like AIDS and HEP-C (which I had a cow over because there is no way I have either) but anyway says I may have vasculitis (and that scared the hell out of me). I asked for a referral to a dermatologist and they saw me right away. DR took a look at me and said I developed Guttate Psoriasis. First question he asked was if I was sick in the last few weeks/month. He said that specific form is triggered by a "strep like" virus (this was prior to the Covid). Anyway it has been a long time healing up, and anyone that has had strep can get this....good news is that it heals up and usually never comes back. Long few months man.
  11. Funny that you had almost the same symptoms that I did. Def knocked my dick in the dirt. It is also crazy that I had this crazy skin issue after the fact. I've been standing in a UV B light chamber for the past 6 weeks 3 times a week. Skin DR said that the sickness was directly responsible for my skin.
  12. If you had what I had it was kinda crazy. My little girl and wife didn't catch it. I got sick after traveling to AR and back on a hunting trip and just chalked it up to being run down. I haven't honestly been that sick in years. Whatever it was was pretty potent, DR just said it was a virus and I needed to rest.
  13. Back on the week of Jan 13th I was deathly sick. Sweating the bed wet (like to the point we had to change sheets every day), fever, cough, sore throat, generally weak and I didn't have the flu. Interestingly enough one month later I developed a skin issue that was due to an autoimmune issue...... and the DR said is was most likely related to my early Jan sickness. Kinda weird really. I've never had anything like that in my life, I'm not saying that I had Covid but I was really really sick.
  14. Perfect. Ill let you know the total and then you can paypal me later! Probably get it out tomorrow. I have a grocery story getting 18 cases tomorrow so that is when it will go out.
  15. Sounds to me like he kept it LOL....... Ill get you a package, obviously wouldn't want sharing issues popping up!
  16. The rubs will be pre-release versions still. We are about a month out on rubs I think....also it has became a real pain sourcing stuff right now with the current situation. I might have some for you to try and get an idea of what we are up to. I have 4 types in gallons (Gold Rush, Shore, Comp, and Honey) Memphis is still waiting until we bottle again. So that being said, do you want 5 gallons or did you want to revise?
  17. I will. I also want to shoot these a little different. Ill make sure there are extra samples in the package.....you know......for hands on testing........ LOL
  18. Few more weeks!! We have test labels on the line today. They are making sure the laser will imprint lot and date codes on to the label.
  19. We are going to have 4.5 oz/14oz shakers to start. Hopefully that isn't to small. I think our stuff more then hangs with Lampbert's. Ill also say it could hang with Smokin Guns too....but that is a very pedigreed rub. 82111_12oz._Bold_PROOF(R1).pdf THAT PDF IS SAFE TO OPEN
  20. You think you will be interested in trying some of our rubs and working them into your program? What are you guys using now?
  21. Its amazing with shrimp, scallops, or lobsta!
  22. I hear you! Any time you start messing with controls it can end up fucking you. My big cooker is still manually adjusted and we feed 6-7000 people a year off of it. There is something to be said for simplicity.
