Little bored at work today so i made something for us all to enjoy......

Been working on the 600 swap project since christmas, just got done chopping the hood to fit the twin pipes, (hood was touching the PTO side pipe) covered the holes with aluminum sheet metal from lowes then primed and painted black again.

Dave McClure should just do a video opening everything up and giving a closely detailed guide. I doubt Cat would get mad at him (maybe a slap on the wrist) but i wouldn't think they would kick him off the Black-Cats team.

Took one ass dragger and one stink bug out for their first ride this season on sunday.

Been working on the spare sled these past few weeks, moved most of the parts over from a 98 powder special to a 2001 Mountain cat that my Father brought home in 2001, learned to ride on that 600 and kept it untill it was stolen, bought the 800 afterwards. Three years after it was stolen my brother found it for sale on CL, met up with the guy and showed him the title so he gave it up and claimed he bought it from another guy? So it has sat a for a few years untill i found a cheap running $400 PS to rob parts from. Currently it has: 144" ported track from my 2001 MC 800 2004 king cat handlebars Skid, motor, chaincase, rpm pipes from PS Polaris primary clutch Higher seat frame made from military cot tubing with neoprene cover Chopped off ⅓ of airbox then sealed And drilled running boards to aid in snow removal. Fired it up last night in 2 pulls after priming fuel system, now to start cleaning it up and taking care of the smaller details.

Wifes sled (green) i picked up for $250 in November with blown carburated motor, replaced with efi motor from the powder special i picked up for $350 in October. Then in December i picked up another donor sled ($100) that i took the motor (temporarily) to drop into the powder special until summer when i move all the parts from the PS zr2 chassis to the MC zr3.

Owned it since 2011 so ive had it as long as cat has had the procross, never had an issue with the old 30mm Suzuki 800 in it. Edit: and before this sled i had a 2001 600 MC for about 6 years.

My comments on arctic insider never even make it past moderation. Been like that for the past 4 months

So this is the zr7000 that doesn't exist right?
