  1. I hope they do a 90s zr. That would be a big hit. Those 90s era anniversary sleds Polaris did were awesome. Polaris would have sold an ass ton of them if they did it for Sno check and not a late limited build after the new sled buyers already ordered. But those sleds were probably very expensive to build because of the paint jobs on them and probably why they were so limited.
  2. Michigan is slim pickings for any decent sled. My local Polaris dealer has a hand full of carry over and they are the models no one wants. I have been looking in Minnesota and they have everything available from the past 3 years.
  3. My dad had two of those el Tigres back in the day when they were new. One them he put twin pipes on. We found one them at a swap meet in the late 90s. He knew it was his from the giant holes he drilled in the hood to mount a compass back then.
  4. I think power steering on the catalyst is going to be a real game changer. On an atv/sxs it is night and day
  5. I will add I ran razors since 2010 before switching to slp Mohawks on my catalyst. The Mohawks are a better all around deep snow/trail ski. The c and an are a better ski for straight up hauling ass on a groomed trail over the Mohawk when running skid destroying speeds. I may try c and a xcs as I can get them for free. Not really interested in the xpt as they are rzr like and the going to the wider width the last 2 seasons has worked well for what I do.
  6. The canoe paddles steer very light compared to any c and a on a procross. I would say they are similar to the rzrs on the sp500 for steering effort if not less. It’s been a while since I have been on a sp500. The big thing with power steering is not the steering effort it’s the feed back. I was riding my cousin’s big tired can am gade 1000 xrs atv with his girlfriend on the back while he was running my ltz-400 like a stolen rental. We caught something with the xrs tank with the power steering and had no idea we destroyed on the front end and never felt it. I am predicting the catalyst with eps and those skis, their is going to be a lot of broken suspension parts. people will ride faster than they usually do because they won’t get the feed back from trail chatter like you will with a non a power steering atv or snowmobile.
  7. I can’t believe Alex hasn’t taken those inappropriate risers from you.
  8. I will probably pick up a new 850 assault or vr1 this fall some place and be done with it.
  9. No. You could find my sled as carry over this winter for 9,999. The higher end models like the rxc were tougher to find and dealers still wanted decent money for them. That was the deciding factor on not fix mine this winter. I could have sold it broken and bought another for the same amount of money it would have taken to fix mine at the time.
  10. Yep. The catalyst I have is literally the sled those people say manufacturers need to build. Basic, no options, no fancy screens yet cat decides not to build it.
  11. You have to deliver it. I can’t lift the turd by myself to get it into the truck to bring it to you lol
  12. Don’t bother with that. If I buy one I will get in touch. I am on the fence of what to do. Either xcr or sba and get my catalyst going
  13. Hey Doug where did you get this kit? I am thinking of getting a carry over xcr and doing this upgrade. Did you have to revalve the shocks?
  14. I am sure the 30 Busch lattes had nothing to do with it lol
  15. It’s tempting. I almost tripped over it this weekend that could have caused a very expensive hospital bill. I am still waiting on the weather to warm up so I can moth ball the POS
  16. It snowed again today. I guess it is possible to ride sleds north west of me if you trailer into the woods. The sxs guys without tracks said it is tough going and still to much snow for tires
  17. They aren’t even making my model anymore. I guess people don’t actually want to buy a bare bones 600.
  18. They need to get arctic ware back up and running under their control as fast as possible. That’s an easy, high margin product people will buy.
  19. They will probably put 600 cylinders on the 858 lower end so it will be common. Vs having 2 mounting configurations and 2 different lower ends in the catalyst. It comes out to some odd ball cc if I remember right
  20. Atac is shit that no one has bought. It needs to go away. The other 2 have active systems now. Shitty, mediocre, and more shitty setting with crappy hand controls makes it so great.
  21. Agree 100%. The way that sled is speced has been needed for a long time. I wish they would have done qs3r instead of the atac on all arms.
  22. I kinda want that ext. but I am not sure if the build quality is there yet so I am staying away.
  23. Aperion group owns Ontario gear and drive/argo
  24. I hear they gonna switch to Wednesday now to change it up
  25. It’s definitely something you need to do. You will see more sleds at the gas station in Wisconsin or the UP than you will during a week long trip in Canada. It’s probably the best flat land riding you can do. Here are some pictures from back in the 90s
