The top ends are only good for about 40 hours on those things. Less when abused. They say around every 15 hours the valves should be adjusted. Does he actually ride it enough to put hours on it, or just beat the shot out of it once a week?
Yeah alsled. I think his wife either died or ran into health issues so that’s why he didn’t ride much. He has gotten out of the sport all together now. He was a trip. So was trimmerbarber and team belly pan back in the day
I saw one of the eb doo 850 turbos in the up at a dealer blown up. We asked what happened to it. Dealer said the owner Cranked up the turbo running pump gas and the rods didn’t like it. It had like 200 miles on it and doo denied the warranty lol
Yes you road it with them on it. The raked out front end helps with them. If you compare them to a stock ski the rzr is longer behind the spindle bolt and way more ski on the ground before the rear kicks up. The xpt has a different cut keel and different side keels from the rzor
C and a does not recommend the razors on a rider foreward I asked them why they steer line crap on the procross. They basically said that ski was designed before rider forward sleds came out.
I walked into my dealer’s open house last weekend and they had a stand up Kawasaki sitting there on the show room. I thought they had gone the way of the 3 wheeler
Unfortunately it has been for 20 years now. They had “record” sales this year dollar wise. But if you look at the amount of units built it’s not any where close to what it was in the 90s. Polaris back in those days built more sleds on their own than all 4 do now
The qs3 rr sleds they watered the suspension way down and it’s not nearly as aggressive as the older ones. I ran my clickers on the older ones just below 1/2 way or just above depending on conditions. The front arm really needs help. Going to a heavier upper spring on the front arm helps out a lot.
They are basically 1 setting shocks unless you re valve. 1 is too soft for anything 2 is ok, 3 would be the same as tuning the clicker all the way in on a normal shock. They need a setting between 1 and 2 and 2 and 3
