I think those dumb asses think the snowmobile makers have massive ware houses stocked full of parts and could easily build so call “old models”. But as we know they don’t and are better off going with a new model they can get parts to build.
For sure. I wish cat would do something. When they do it’s usually something cool. The first year will be a shit pile but they will work good year 3 and on.
I would think they have it figured out. I doubt there was Huge amount of testing that needed to be done with it in the snowmobile for the engine itself. Probably more so making sure the sled doesn’t brake apart with it in there
I like to lean forward and unload the rear suspension when I go around a freshly groomed corner. The huge rooster tail you can shoot is impressive when Tokyo drifting around the soft corner.
The 4 stroke is the utv 1000 engine with tweaks for a snowmobile. It will be way under powered. They said it will be around 90hp. It will go head to head with the doo 900 ace turd.
Hennepin, Ramsey, Washington, Dakota, extreme eastern part of carver, Northern part of Scott and the southern 1/2 of anoka counties contain probably 80% of Minnesota’s population
It’s sad the simple solution is to tow it slowly, 2 miles down the road to the boat yard where it needs to go. If they did it in the middle of the night like they want to, no one would notice.
It’s amazing how many of them will say cold seize when it isn’t. I don’t think any of them know what a cold seize looks like. They also act like engines used in cats will never blow up unless you did something totally wrong in brake in. Especially a F fucking 7
The procross was built to fit any engine you can think of in it. Cat could come out with new chassis built around the ctech 2 strokes now that they don’t have to fit 9 million engines in it
