what gun and caliber?
-
He claimed 2 weeks ago that he rebuilt the shocks on it, now its a full blown NSP sled. And no, his stickers aren't on it
-
I use illuminated reticles. A black cross hair on a black bear in the almost dark, is tough. Give the reticle a little red glow and all is well. For yotes, I'd love thermal, but that's illegal here
-
and now, the NSP Arctic cat 1000 race sled, LOL!

wolves, polar bears and NASA

yep, the old school thinking of a scope is a scope is a scope, is just worthless if you want to shoot accurately. the light gathering for example, is a big deal on some of my rifles, not a concern on others. when i'm bear hunting and trying to use every last minute of legal shooting time, it's huge. when i can no longer even see the bait with my bare eyes, i can look through my scope and pick out small details that you need to make a late minute, ethical shot

excellent descriptions and specs on some of the different plastics https://www.mcmaster.com/plastics/
-
a GOOD zero stop that is repeatable, will let you increase elevation for distance, but then easily return to a hundred yard zero. it's huge for when you shoot at a lot of different distances and are constantly changing the turrets. i use mine a lot as i like to dial in for distance as opposed to hold over in the reticle
-
low end scopes wont have adjustable parallax, and they are usually built to be parallax free at 100 yards. that's probably what they mean by that spec.
-
the issue for me was a heavy scope, and big recoil. the scope kept moving forward every shot
-
i used to swear by those too, but my most recent combo required a set of rings with double mounting screws. the leupold rings would not hold the scope in place under recoil. which took me a bit to figure out why my groups sucked, lol
-
agreed 100% image clarity, eye relief, low light image quality and light gathering, parallax, FFP or second, zero repeatability. even the accuracy of each click of the turret can vary wildly. at long distance, i want 1 click to actually be 1/4 MOA, not somewhere close.

apparently ricky is working with NASA engineers now?

Some of the vortex is made here, depending on which line of products. The others are made offshore, which country again depends on the lineup.
-
I even have their rangefinder. Great company
-
Vortex is all i use. From my hunting scopes to my long distance stuff, i swear by them. I cant speak from experience in that price range, but i doubt you'll find better optics for the money.

Stop sale for all polaris sleds Because of Fire Hazzard

I heard that poo is waiting to release a fix, or any updates in the future, until they consult with slick rick. -
I've never been a fan of speedwerx clutching setups, at least not for my preferences
-
maybe it just feel like a rev limiter because it's about 10 degrees retarded from where i need it. thanks doug
-
so if they give a timing spec for 9k on the RMK, i have to assume there is not a rev limiter?

Is SKI-DOO The Undisputed King of Innovation?

doo invented the pyramid, beat that fuckers! -
i didnt know there was a ranking system for polaris clutch kits. who came in second to slick rick?
-
minimum order quantity and dollar amount would be no problem, but i still take in cars and trucks for custom work and wont give that up. Automatic has been very good to us over the years though so whatever
-
also, it looks like i'm swapping in an ignition system from an 04. does anyone know the curve for an 04 prox 600 and 700, and also if there is a hard rev limiter built into the cdi/ecu?
-
parts unlimited declined us because i wouldnt agree to not work on cars and trucks. they require powersports ONLY
