speaking of taxes ... vehicle regs and tags
yeah liberal mass is just like ny. our school district is not huge, maybe 100 or so per class. 49 million budget. nothing but bullshit now. last year the music teacher jokingly told a student if you don't stop talking i'm gonna put tape on your mouth. all the while smiling, hands the student a piece of tape that she put on her own mouth. it was funny to all but one kid , who proceeded to report it , and not an accurate account. made a huge deal. all the other kids were screaming it was funny , not malicious. they went after the teacher anyway

speaking of taxes ... vehicle regs and tags
my tundra costs 75.00 for 2 years to reg. sled is 30.00 for a club, money goes direct, and 45.00 to reg after that. my camper plate was 55.00 last night. keep in mind it's prorated from the 1st of jan. boat trailer was 20.00 , prorated as well. boat is like 75.00 but lasts 3 years. we have school and land tax for our homes . some have staggering numbers for that

For the bottom 60% of U.S. households, a "minimal quality of life" is out of reach...
we all see it. people that "can't afford to live" , yet have the newest phone, 2 packs of cigs a day, drinking, smoking dope, coach bag, late model cars , plus keep having kids they know they can't afford. some of it is priority and life choice. no doubt shit is expensive , but you as a person have to keep yourself in check

Any Mountain Bikers?
I moved away from cannondale long ago. I have a full xt Jekyll in my garage. Lefty with internal damper upgrade. That was a good time for them but we all had quality issues and moved on. I went to Kona which is a good bike, then Santa Cruz where I am glued. 18 Bronson lead to a 24 heckler ebike and I am having so much fun, and riding tons of miles. Feeling great.

Any Mountain Bikers?
you mean heckler? i have a 24 heckler, and i love it. came from a bronson so it feels very close. early heckler had small battery and isn't worth it. you want the 720. early levo had issues with brose motor i think. just for the record i bought my 24 heckler c 29r for 5100.00 brand new to my door. they are out there still. i like santa cruz ride , especially the vpp. they just went to 4 bar , and i left that for vpp. 4 bar is technically single pivot and i feel they grab every hole and rock. just my opinion of course. one of my friends last night had the new transition ebike and that thing is sweet. another thing for santa cruz is the size. large fits me perfect .

Any Mountain Bikers?
i have my zeb base fork upgraded with the best damper, best air spring , no spacers, and now radial tire on the front. you can just hammer it. i just rode 10 miles of roots and rocks, and it took it with ease. i have the rear radial coming and i can't wait. not to mention what the maxxis dhr2 rear tire looks like at 250 miles of woods riding. weather tonight was stellar after 4 weeks of freezing. dry and marbly out there but damn we were cranking

Ticonderoga area residents under shelter-in-place order
TICONDEROGA, N.Y. — Police in Ticonderoga are looking for a man wanted following a domestic stabbing incident. The Ticonderoga Police Department confirmed to NBC5 that they are looking for Jacob Sawyer, 28, a man accused of stabbing another person in a domestic incident at a home on Park Avenue on Sunday. Advertisement Police said Sawyer is five feet seven inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. They also clarified that as of 9 a.m. on Monday, there is no longer a shelter in place order issued for residents in town. They said this is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public. Police had previously issued a Shelter in Place order on Sunday afternoon. Residents in the surrounding area were told to stay indoors due to a "heavy police presence." However, police are still actively searching for Sawyer. “There was a bunch of state troopers that came flying up by our house,” said local resident John Carr, describing the scene as police locked down the neighborhood on Sunday and launched a door-to-door search for Sawyer. Carr said officers, some dressed in tactical gear and carrying assault rifles, went house to house asking residents to shelter in place and requesting permission to search backyards for any signs of the suspect. “They had AR assault rifles, and they're going from door to door asking people to stay in the house to see if the guy was in somebody's backyard hiding out,” he said. A warrant has been issued for Sawyer's arrest, listing charges that include attempted murder, criminal contempt, and criminal possession of a weapon. In a subsequent release, police said the female victim is currently in stable condition as of Monday. Community members are expressing concern for her well-being and the emotional toll of the attack. “I hope that the young lady that got stabbed survives and has no problems,” said Clayton Menser, a nearby resident from Crown Point. Carr echoed the sentiment, adding, “I hope she recovers physically and all around, mentally, everything. She's going to be traumatized. I hope she lives through this. And it's tragic for the young man's family.” Despite the ongoing search, authorities say the incident appears to be isolated, and there is no current threat to the public. Police have asked residents to report any suspicious activity around their homes to the Ticonderoga Police Department at 518-585-3456. Editor's note: The Ticonderoga Police Department previously said the incident happened at a home on Mount Hope Ave.

Any Mountain Bikers?
my buddy owns the local shop. we have been riding together for 20 years , plus we ride sled together as well. i get a deal but 100.00 tires add to the expense.

Any Mountain Bikers?
i hardly ride the fat bike, but i leave the studded tires on it. i rarely flatted with tubes but the supple feel of tubeless is amazing. the radials are supposed to be better yet than that. i even put a wren inverted air fork on my fat bike, still don't ride it much. damn sled gets in the way.

Any Mountain Bikers?
i have everything set up tubeless including fat bike

Any Mountain Bikers?

Any Mountain Bikers?
i was gonna suggest some tokens in there. my new bike has a rockshox zeb, was a base but i put the newer damper in it and debonair plus air spring. now it's an ultimate. it felt great when i did it but felt harsh the past few rides. i'm almost thinking the 30f temps i have been riding in are making it stiff. i have 2 tokens in there , i'm gonna take those out. i run rebound pretty fast , otherwise it will pack up. my fox 36 was the same way, took some tweaking to get it small bump compliant. my friend locally rebuilds shocks and forks if you want to ship to ny

What happened?
yes, that and the used market is typically loaded with reasonable stuff. there are few that buy a bike that use it steady. i do , even my girlfriend says it. if i buy it i use it , and take care of it . and of course never leave shit alone !
