A buddy of mine has one, he’s definitely not a racer just a 300lb loudmouth who thinks he is. I’m pretty sure he just ordered it through the dealership. Suspension wise I’d say it’s between an XCR and RR. I expected it to be more RXC/CC calibration (although I haven’t ridden a Cross country).

Slide his rubber bump stops on the shocks all the way up on his sled and take a pic at the end of the day so we can have a good visual representation 😂. Pretty obvious Cat doesn’t have anything coming out, Doos end of order date is March 31. Poo probably won’t be too far behind and cat will barely have their sleds released by then from the sounds of it. I hope Bontz is right about at least a limited build of something new to keep people interested or it’ll just be another year of arctic cat hanging themselves.

Seems like a pretty big lawsuit to get a kids sled when your front end geometry needs a lot of work.

They may be uglier than the freestyles… apparently they couldn’t find a better solution for LED lights than throwing a couple eBay plow truck reverse pods in the hood.

I just wish I knew if anything is changing for 23 thinking about listing both my sleds today as winter has left the chat here in upstate NY. Waiting till 24 because of price increases for 23 is nuts, once shit goes up in price it doesn’t come back down. Snowcheck 2 new ones the day they come available for order and get them on the first truck load again.

Most ski doos spend the riding season parked in front of the bar. Not sure if it’s so the riders have less time in the saddle regretting paying the most money for the worst option on snow or so they don’t have to be seen on those ugly fucking things.

There has had to have been some bad wrecks on the hill. It’s signed pretty well but almost still not enough for the urgency of how steep that thing is. If you ever need someone to go on a midweek ride let me know. I might sneak out and do a hundred or so miles from the house in the morning before my first job.

That’s a nice ride when there’s snow. We went down there quite a bit last year from the local trails (gfs president of westmoreland club). I’m sure you’ve experienced it but the pipeline going towards cazenovia is a blast when it gets drifted over.

I like the red rails. My buddy got a 650 that color scheme but black rails.

I have no idea why but I thought he was the veteran of the team. I feel like he’s been around a long time and always very consistent so maybe that’s why I always thought that.

That trail is about 10 trail miles to either end of it from my house. It’s a HUGE cutoff between 2 trails obviously, about 18 extra miles to a gas station now if you’re on the south trail of the two. I didn’t read this whole thread but somebody also cut the rope they put up to close the trail and drove through again. So any chance of ever getting that one back is probably gone.

The base gauge on my buddies renegade x isn’t terrible but at least my cat gauge doesn’t have neutral and 4x4 lights on the bottom.

No shut off on him going down the trail he said. We just stopped to see if he was alright and he tried starting it with electric start and would do nothing. First pull was a solid slow woof, woof, woof. Seemed to free up after that and he pulled it about 15 more times and it fired up but was making all sorts of racket from the bottom end. I had him pull start it without the hood so we could figure out where the metallic grinds and rattling were coming from. In Polaris’s defense though he openly admitted he was a cat guy trying something new.

I hope this fella we were helping’s warranty isn’t too affected by the stop ride seeing as the crank in his 280 mile 850 assault seemed to have taken a hike.
