  1. is that a pyramid?
  2. winners are rocking the 9R... apparently he didn't listen to Gym
  3. being that you are actually smarter than I, it pains me to inform you that... you should see the documentary, it was riveting
  4. go back a page or two pal... you heading to the spud fields anytime soon? I'm like twenty minutes away and more than happy to let you buy me dinner after whuppin' you through the woods with a kids sled.
  5. don't park too close to a G4 or G5 in a parking lot, those tip over on their own. last winter three sleds were lost for the season when a Doo was parked at a four degree angle.
  6. careful... these waters are chalk full of small dicks
  7. personally speaking have two nearly identical sleds... one is 85-ish hp, the other 130-ish+ the 130-ish+ one with XC gearing will hang the skis at 1mph or 61mph but the 85hp can be literally ridden fully up the 130+'s ass with the flipper closer to the bars the entire time in the twisty stuff. as soon as there's a field or open space it switches and the bigger hp sled runs away. if I had to sell one or the other which I don't plan to... I'd keep the 85hp and swap out the very premium shocks with the other still premium shocks before selling it. funny how we all prioritize differently things at times...
  8. you're fishing in troubled waters here hoss... reel it back 30% or so.
  9. ace posted... I posted... so @Badger** are you acknowledging ISR records as @ACE brought up or NSSR records which was the link I posted? not an ice dragger so idk which of the two completely unimportant to me results matter more... but a thirteen year old SP 500 is still faster through the woods than your bargain level tippy 850 BRP hyper sled. keep forgetting this is CE where off the rails snowmobile conversations break out and go a different direction. I'd wager the 600 Catalyst will also smoke you on your 850 Ski Douche in the twisty shit... but it's probably not Pro-S level, those are for extra special folks.
  10. there's a few local grass/ice draggers that are still whuppin' ass on them that doesn't make them appealing to me to ride, but I appreciate their noises as I haven't spent time on them I can't comment other than seeing them take off and rape 1000' like a SaturnV rocket.
  11. wife made meatloaf and I haven't eaten a proper meal since yesterday late afternoon... So,here comes some burps.
  12. Those motorbike engine sleds still sound spectacular to this day. Had one come in on us yesterday at our dinner hole in the wall and before going inside heard it hit the big field a country mile away. @Badger** might know the place in Aniwa... which is pronounced Enima with an 'A'
  13. Ace's post and my subsequent post with a link to nssr records clearly didn't touch all of the receptors in your brain at the same time. Anyway, moving on ...

assuming this means we're getting closer to firing it up... onwards to the fuel filter, adding shutoff valve, fuel lines, pump, carbs and 63 race dept approved zip ties.

Damn kid does some fine work, bet the carbs haven't been this clean inside or out since it left the factory. Yamaha combustion cleaner was magical for the jets even before brushing and cleaning. Good stuff.
  16. did you read his post?
  17. speaking of the big end @ACE or @f7ben how inaccurate are Doo speedometers? buddy hit 116 (speedo recall) on an two mile long arrow straight unplowed road while we were riding yesterday with his 23 Renny 900R. he knows it's not accurate but just how inaccurate are they? 10%?
  18. survey says... https://www.racenssr.com/records.htm
  19. good night weirdos...
  20. is there a CFR FB page...? because the F7 one is weird as fuck
  21. with the HOT ECU or the one's consumers got? not many people would have known it was that sled
  22. Ben will take it, for when he gets into vintage shit. Took me two years to sell mine on FB marketplace for $300... thank god for a global pandemic and a track shortage or I'd still have it!!!
  23. with some more length (than 128") in certain conditions, I can see that if I were running rail beds or lakes all day long... nah, I'd rather eat glue name the last adult sled that came brand new with a 14"W 1" lug track though... with two or more cylinders
  24. on rock hard pack or ice... meh, maybe on actual snow... pure trash
  25. you can't believe how happy I was to be rid of this... and the 1/2" wider gap on each side of the tunnel doesn't get as much snow to the front cooler... but, definitely faster on the big end
