That’s a pretty big “what if”. You’re making mountains out of mole hills dude. Complaining about sled reg. and trail pass stickers? You sure you’re not a female?
No wonder you’re referred to as Karen2Karen
The LEO walked away from you and thought…..”what a cunt”
do you even ride, or just hang out on here?

Well bitching on a obscure snowmobile site ain’t gonna get the law changed for ya
. You’re talking to the wrong people for that. I agree with you though I use to put them on the tunnel but I got sick of being harassed about it.
need to build a coalition of folks with common f'ng sense... so obviously no government workers.

how's that process work? can you ride your sled, even though it's registered but doesn't have a decal on the replacement panel?
I forgot about this other thread @Doug started...

let me make this corrosion comment more clear... take a full aluminum can of soda, place it in a plastic bucket. fill the bucket with salty snow from alongside the road. leave it in your house or garage until the snow is melted. remove the aluminum can. it will likely have tiny pin holes in the can and have leaked the contents out of itself.

Yesterday after a local snowmobile event the DNR decided to place themselves at a road crossing in a truck to check for registration and trail pass stickers. I was one of their targets as I refuse to comply with their idiotic demand of making my registration and trail pass decals 'easily visible' to law enforcement officers... and here's my reasoning.
If I break or damage a windshield or plastic body panel on my sled during the course of the winter on which the sticker is to be placed according to the law I cannot simply remove the decal(s) and transfer them to the replacement panels due to the sticker style the DNR issues. If you have multiple windshields you cannot simply transfer the decals either. To get replacement decals from the DNR is an utter pain in the ass.
My decals are on the rear tunnel of the sled. If the decals get damaged there it's likely the snowmobile is not ridable.
The LEO seemed pissed at me initially until I pointed out the position of them, that they were current and affixed in a location that while not compliant with their 'make it easy and convenient for us' demands were on the machine in a visible location.
He didn't like my reasoning and said that the next trail pass decals should be placed on the hood just under the windshield and the registration sticker attached to the cowling. I informed him I would not be doing that and asked if he was going to write me a ticket and see me in court. He then frustratedly sent me on my way. Good thing I wasn't drinking right?
Nothing against the LEO, he was just doing his job as the law is written but imo the current law is flawed in it's design. I also very much disagree with the trail pass decal which used to be included in your registration. The registration decals used to be required to be affixed to the rearward tunnel of the sled.
Laws can be changed...

How much more of disappointments can Kenny take? Kid seems like a good kid who doesn't come from much $ and was really hoping he'd lay down a complete season and keep getting better. Bummer for him.
yes... @fortune46x might be able to provide more info but from what we see of the Ctak vlog he comes off as well liked, humble and funny. especially enjoy his interactions and encouragement for the young racers. I'll root for guys like that all day long no matter what they're riding or finishing.
games are about to begin, they're doing rider introductions...

I do kinda wonder how many people born after 1985 have never taken a snowmobile safety course? Based upon what I see riding at times, my guess is not nearly enough.
Do you need Wisconsin Snowmobile education?
You need education if you were born after Jan. 1, 1985, and will be riding on public lands in Wisconsin.
Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Requirements
Important! You'll need your WI DNR Customer Number to complete the course. If you do not have this number visit the DNR website, or visit a DNR service center.
You must be at least 16 years old to take this online course.
You do not have to be a resident of Wisconsin to take this online course.

For Christ sake, they best have put enough cooler in these things. I just did 200 miles on the F7. Several long road runs and dirt stretches with zero snow. Not as much as a blink. My ZR8 would have melted today.
is it potentially a not enough cooler issue, or just not enough snow getting on the coolers issue? my guess is the latter of the two.
we're leaving to go riding in a bit, hard trails right now but likely loose this afternoon.

I ran the wire all day yesterday too because with Michigan weather, and my work load these past two years, I can’t seem to get enough riding in so I take everything and adjust as much as I can, without being a bother to the group I’m riding with. I was riding with the wife yesterday so I was doing a little experimenting but the riding was good too so I wanted to just keep riding. If you stop too much, the wife gets bored and will just ask to go back to the house sometimes.
best video I've found on the Mission, going to run mine without the chin curtain on today as it's going to be a bit warm.
2024 Sleds... what's coming

speaking of light weight, durability, reliability, a great seat and excellent handling... I've beaten on this for over 6k worry free miles and bet I could beat on it for 6k more. engine is bone stock original and has never been opened up. who makes something like that these days?
