  1. No, because that only benefits clubs in the southern part of the state where people live which only groom like 3 weeks a year compared to northern clubs where no one lives. @Angry ginger can confirm since he was involved with a club there. Keep your mandatory membership and speed limits there please!
  2. Our local bar in town closes at 9 cause it's mostly a restaurant, on good weekends when our trails are good in the winter we'll get over $100 from that, got a $200 donation to groom an 1/8th mile long camp road after every big storm last winter, cost maybe $15 in diesel. Maine also has a bottle deposit so we put a donation bin at the redemption center in town, I swear we get almost $1,000 from that every year for no effort since the owner keeps track for us. That code thing I think is a good idea, though my buddies don't donate at all and they're all 25-30, it's like pulling teeth to get the fucks to register their sled or help me brush once in a while... I donate over 130 hours of my time every year, that's plenty along with all the chainsaw hours, vehicle miles, etc

I run Doo oil since I buy it out of the barrel with my old skidoo jugs that fit 1.25 gallons for a 1 gallon refill price. 20,000 miles between 2 800 etecs on the original motors each, so gonna keep on doing what I'm doing.
  4. Got my 1500 sq ft ranch on 28 acres built in 2006 with radiant heat and attached 2 car garage. Also has a mile long figure 8 loop road out back through the woods. Little spot of paradise. Taxes are $4,200 per year though...
  5. Pffft, headlight doesn't even work. I'll give you $700!

  7. One person is dead and five others missing after they plunged through the ice of Lac-Saint-Jean near Saint-Henri-de-Taillon on Tuesday evening. The death of one of the victims was declared in hospital hours after the incident. Sûreté du Québec officers on snowmobiles, boats deployed by Canadian Armed Forces and the local fire department, and a Canadian Armed Forces helicopter searched the area in an effort to find the missing, who may be trapped under the ice. Provincial police divers were preparing to join the search on Wednesday morning. According to the SQ, a group of foreign tourists and their guide were touring the eastern end of the lake on snowmobiles when the ice gave way. The first victim escaped from the water helped by other members of the tour group who in turn alerted authorities. The SQ were informed of the emergency at about 7:30 p.m. A second victim pulled from the lake later died of their injuries. Three other members of the tour group made it to shore but five others remain missing. Police said the incident occurred in an area outside established trails where snowmobiles are supposed to travel. https://www.google.com/amp/s/montrealgazette.com/news/local-news/one-dead-5-missing-as-snowmobiles-plunge-through-ice-on-lac-saint-jean/amp
  8. UCC search since they have to document their lien on the asset. You can run a search yourself for $12 ( here at least) with the borrower's full legal name and I think there is a way to search by vin too possibly.
  9. Guy didn't stay on the marked trail and went right into the mouth of the river basically, sucks for sure. If a lake is marked and you don't know it you should follow the stakes
