  1. I’m still thinking about going with a 600 etec next year. Going to have to do some more research to see how many 10k+ mile ones are out there and see if the production 900 turbos perform better than the demos did last spring. The idea of a lighter sled excites me. Instead of making the 4 strokes lighter they seem to be going backwards.130 hp is perfect for the trails I ride. I don’t want a 200 hp turbo.
  2. Who changes oil twice a year? By mistake I went 2 years without changing it one time. I just get mine done at the dealer...it’s only like $80 at mine.
  3. Yup, and it’s the pond in Jericho state park.
  4. Still some nice areas left, I just got spoiled last year and hit peak perfectly. Got 2 more days of riding to go.
  5. Last year vs. this year. I definitely missed peak. It’s 5 days later but I think all the wind and rain we’ve had is the bigger reason.
  6. Lebron plays a meaningless game to earn his money and has not helped the country one bit, yet he's managed to hurt the country like many celebrities by fueling the race war.
  7. What a great day. Sunny, 60's, no more humidity thank god. Saw 2 moose last night and a bear today.
  8. Nytros been gone for a few years. Apex vector and phazer all got axed this year. And I think there's only 1 viper model, the rest are winders? Sad. Yamaha is a great company that has the potential to kick the other 3's asses in the sled market but in the end it's just too small of a market for them to invest any more. What do you do for excitement these days?
  9. Coos county New Hampshire. Fuck NY, you can't even legally register a SxS here.
  10. It doesn't hold a candle to sledding but it feels great to be back on trails again. Hard to believe people were still sledding here 4 weeks ago.
  11. What about AP12? Lots of personalities from the original HCS and FS that I miss and I wonder what happened to them.
  12. Great news. Maybe Trump can get rid of ethanol next. If he does that he'll automatically be the greatest prez ever!!!
  13. I would guess over 80% of trail sleds in the northeast are studded or have ice rippers. The 20% that don't are idiots. We get so much ice here from the wild temperature swings. I'm considering an ice ripper/cobra for my next sled but even that kinda scares me. I'm just looking for ways to cut weight since Ski-Doo doesn't want to.
  14. They're all from NH. My parents bought a camp over there last year so I decided not to register in NY or VT this season.
  15. Awesome pics old Indy! It pains me stopping to take pics while the riding is good but I still do it because I love looking back at them over the years. Some of my faves from this year...
  16. Yesterday was my last ride of the season. Still some snow left but hard to access it without riding through mud and plowed logging roads. Then it's doing circles. Plus I've got work to do. I've only spent one weekend home since mid December. 3366 miles on the year.
  17. I like how they've been using multiple backs with different styles and it also keeps them fresh and healthy. Gillislee, white, and burkhead if they sign him, would still make an ok running game, but Lewis was by far the best one.
  18. Did that Dyno test just come out or have Cat and the rags like supertrax just trying to sweep it under the rug?
  19. Plus you'd be screwed if it blew up on your big trip. Season is short enough...
  20. Doo pretty much forces you to snowcheck if you want a fucking digital gauge. Assholes.
  21. Some from last week. Might get another Nor'easter this week. 10 days ago I thought we were done. What a turn around
