  1. I’m at 2500 and the old 4 tec is getting close to 11k. Almost turbo time.
  2. Incredible 3 days of riding topped off with my club’s steak feed today.
  3. The green looks better in person but the red doesn’t go with it at all. I’m tired of black sleds but Doo leaves no other choice.
  4. Sweet sled snacks but it’s been 2 hours, you probably sold it by now.
  5. Is the red 2-up in the ProCross chassis the new sled?
  6. Not everyone has interstate wide and straight trails to need a 150-200 hp rocket ship. And why settle for the unneeded extra HP when you have to spend $15k on it and run 91 octane and the thing weighs a ton. I 100% disagree. I rarely see Sidewinders on the trails. They’re just not practical unless you ride Quebec. I see far more 1200’s, vectors, 1100’s, even the old T660 turbos still floating around and those sleds are all discontinued now and had their flaws so what does that say? I think the 09 TNT 1200 was 499 lbs dry. It’s 2019...is a 1000 ace HO with 120-130hp 480 lbs not reasonable?
  7. Absolutely mind boggling that there are 0 4-stroke sleds available between 95-150 HP. That’s a HUGE market segment.

    900T

Same here, except turbo renegade. Prob gonna buy 6.9’s so I’ll get red loops. Still might get the green after I see it in person. Looks like shit in the dealer show pics though.
  9. So the sidewinder is more powerful from bottom to top?...no way!!! The 900T is outselling the Winder because it’s lighter, handles better, rides better, the ergos are better, and it’s not an arctic cat.
  10. How do you guys do a track swap when you order one? Buy the new one and sell the stock one...or does your dealer do it and how much does it cost?
  11. Incredible riding here the last 2 days. 30’s and sun was just icing on the cake.
  12. Everything about today was awesome. Well except for the fact that I don’t have a 900T yet.
  13. The lesters and their best in class awards are a joke. Just like all the rags they give the awards to the newest sled and they spread the wealth around to all the manufacturers. I loved how they always gave the 'best 4 stroke' award to Yamaha because it was like the only category they could win.
  14. I just tried going to the Cat website and my screen flashed so many times I thought my tablet was going to blow up. Didn't load either. How ironic.

    900T

I knew it was just a matter of time. Now you just need to grow some balls and snow check the XRS.
  16. Anyone who buys a built in GPS on their sled is a fucking retard. You can get a simple to use and more advanced Nuvi with a big screen and a great map program for $150 and still be able to use it in future sleds, your ATV, and your car. You work for Doo now? I didn’t think they had their 1st show til next week. Sometimes the colors we think look rediculous online turn out great in person. And all black sleds looks great on the computer but I think it’s boring on snow. I’ll still probably end up with the black one though. Maybe at some red to it.
  17. More throttle makes you spin and slow down silly. You were probably one of those guys that stayed in the Pittsburg bubble all the time too where it's all logging roads. Are there even any hills on the trails around old forge? I never came across much of any in the northern adirondacks.
  18. After trying the 900T last spring I was a little disappointed. Not sure if it was just the limited test ride (couple mile donkey trail) or the fact that it was a pre-production model with bad clutching and stock carbides. But after today’s demo I’m sold on it. I put 70 miles on it with everything from a rail bed to whooped up woods trails to fields to steep hills. Only thing missing was a lake and deep snow. It just does everything better than my 1200. It’s heavier on paper but somehow it feels lighter, no inside ski lift, rides great, ergos are better, and the power is smooth but takes off like a raped ape. On a side note, anyone not running studs in NH or VT is a retard. Besides almost killing myself in icy corners today I almost got stuck on this thing going up a steep hill covered in ice.
  19. All it is is eye candy. With the junk they put out it’s like we’re down to 1.5 manufacturers. That’s the new firecat.
  20. This noob bitch will still beat you in miles this season even with your record year that you’re bragging about. Yes there is. The winder is is a whole other class power wise than anything else and with its weight and the way the track spins in loose snow it’s a handful on 95% of our trails in NH and VT. It’s a great Quebec sled.
  21. I generally agree in that it’s nice to have the extra power on tap for certain situations even if your trails don’t allow it most of the time. But there’s a point where it becomes TOO MUCH unneeded power and that’s the 200hp winder. I really like the power modes on my ITC 1200 because on technical trails in sport mode the throttle is too sensitive and in deep snow it spins too much. That’s when I cut it down to standard. The 900T is the same.
  22. Who are these moderate democrats? Other than Joe Manchin and Biden, I can't think of any notable ones.
  23. The Nytro was kind of a bitch to steer because of the steering post angle not being vertical like most sleds. I had an 09 121”. Check out the regular NA 900 ace too. Most people who come from 600’s and vectors seem to be satisfied with the power. They are quite a bit lighter than a vector and 1200 so they handle much better. I have a 137” 1200 now and I love the sled but I ride a lot of tight and twisty trails and it will wear you out a bit on a 100+ mile day. The 900 turbo isn’t any lighter either.
  24. It’s been another up & down winter in the Northeast. We still have a good amount of snow where I am, but if we didn’t have several big warmups including one where we got 2.5” of rain, we’d be so buried right now. The only consistently great winter we’ve had in recent years was 2015. The rest have been bipolar.
