  1. It shouldn't. People need to learn to cut back on things and get a safety net in place. Is it hard to do....absolutely. It takes sacrifice however all you have to do is listen to Dave Ramsey a few times to realize it can be done. I'm not saying employers, charities and even govt can't be a part of the help but we as citizens have to do our part to prepare ourselves for the unforeseen.
  2. We had a meeting last week informing them that nobody will be hurt financially from this as far as work or HI goes. If forced to shut down we would cover the difference between unemployment and regular wages. Same for any programs the federal govt would apply. We also moved a 3% raise up a few months. So far (knock on wood) we have more customers worried about us not able to deliver than cancelling or moving orders out. Might be different by the end of the week but other circumstances make me think it won't change for a while for us. Its about treating your employee's right and I hope companies across the country do what they can. This should bring rise to our patriotism to our fellow citizens more than 9/11 ever thought of doing.
  3. I was heading out west Thursday but cancelled because the wife wanted me to stay if things get worse. Only reason I'm not going was so she wasn't alone.

The left and their desire for power has zero conscience or morals.
  5. Funny. I'm at work finalizing a couple bids for new work. Apparently some of the "job creators" are still working.
  6. Yep....when one hits that is killing this population at 2-3% we are really in trouble with how we are responding to this one.
  7. This stock will shoot up like a rocket. 1. They will see an increase in income and profits during this. 2. Adding thousands of new customers each week or even day. 3. Customers will more and more want to stay out of public place for a while even after this subsides.
  8. Really? Someone and their son were positive last summer they were going to the Superbowl.
  9. % will increase rapidly as many of the younger generations are the main ones in the workforce taking care of the supply chain and taking care of the sick. This is no surprise at all.
  10. Man didn't. God gave it to him. You do know that Sanders proposed plan goes far beyond what those other countries plans cover right? Still think it can be done for the same price? The nursing home portion alone would be extremely expensive. Simply claiming other countries vs. Sanders plan IS NOT COMPARING APPLES TO APPLES. https://www.commonwealthfund.org/blog/2019/universal-health-coverage-eight-countries First, many of these proposals would impose no patient cost-sharing. This is in contrast to Scandinavia, where patients pay copayments for most services. Norwegians pay $17 (U.S.) for primary care visit, $39 for specialist visits, and up to $51 for prescription drugs. At the same time, total annual out-of-pocket spending is capped at $221 per year (as of 2017), after which services are free; also, vulnerable populations such as children and pregnant women are exempt from most cost-sharing. Even in countries where physician and hospital services are free, such as the U.K. and Canada, patients pay some portion of prescription drug costs. Second, the single public plans that have been proposed in the U.S. so far would provide everyone with a wide range of benefits, including vision, dental, and long-term care. Most countries with universal coverage, however, cover vision and dental benefits only for targeted populations such as children and low-income adults. Similarly, long-term care is not typically covered. Instead, these services are financed separately, whether through national long-term care insurance or local taxes.
  11. Dude....her conspiracies are nothing unique. I jokingly posted one and got ridiculed for it. Do you think the virus was spread intentionally?
  12. Holy fucking hypocrite. Wow. Worse than noggin and his yacht and farm he doesn't share.
  13. No thanks. Caitlin Johnstone Follow Rogue journalist. Bogan socialist. Anarcho-psychonaut. Guerrilla poet. Utopia prepper.
  14. Reality is under true communism nobody pays anything and we trade services for care. God know's we'ed have a much better HC system today if capitalism never came around. All diseases would be cured. Medical equipment would have just magically invented and mfg'ed itself. Doctors grow on trees.
  15. Apples to Oranges. Some of those places own the entire HC system and pay HC workers significantly less. You can't simply say well Sweeden does it so we can too. Too many factors that have to be looked at. Also some of those places tax lower income citizens to higher rates to pay for it. Some also have private care facilities where people can pay on their own. You OK with that?
  16. His company actually makes styrofoam?
  17. Sham indictment for public consumption only. The indictment will get 1000x's the msm attention than its cancellation.
  18. Answers the question on which generation is not the greatest.
