What a fantastic plan President Trump
Sorry but there is no fixing things in govt anymore. Its only up to the courts what can and can't be done.

Now Why Would The Cia Block The Truth
Didn't say that in the slightest and you are crossing over defense and the IC. Again govt needs to have some secrets but illegal activities shouldn't be kept from the public....quite the contrary and human experimentations I'd say fall under illegal activities. How long should the govt be able to hide things such as warrantless spying on American's? Problem with SETEC Astronomy is what we have now. An IC that one of the most powerful Senators in US history goes on a national news program and says "Let me tell you, if you go after the intelligence community they have six ways to Sunday to get back at you." That is an IC that has become too powerful and is out of control and more than hints that groups that constitutionally fall under the executive branch now think they don't. You OK with the Vault 7 program where they could watch and listen to you on your devices without your knowledge? Public knowledge keeps that in check. Your stance on this is not surprising.

Now Why Would The Cia Block The Truth
Little over a month before the assassination. Be curious how long before the trip Kennedy's route was announced in Dallas that day.

Now Why Would The Cia Block The Truth
Again......up to a point especially when they did things illegal or abused their mandate. Do you think the public deserved to know about things like the MK Ultra project?

Now Why Would The Cia Block The Truth
The CIA and rest of the IC obviously must keep some things from the public at least for some portion of time however at some point that should change except for possibly sources and methods. This doesn't excuse the CIA if they really obstructed the investigation into the assassination of the President. I still think Oswald was an CIA asset that likely went rogue and killed Kennedy. I can see why they would want that secret but it shouldn't be. The American public deserves to know. Heck the FBI was burning files they had on him. Public deserves to know why.

Cutting social security
Yep...my mom passed away on a Sunday afternoon and they (Hospice and the facility) were letting them know that day. However considering the archaic nature of some of the federal govt record keeping it doesn't surprise me. It also doesn't surprise me if someone had been reported passed away and even years later someone started using that number and they just re-alived them so to speak. No checks and balances on so many Federal programs. Oversight has been relegated to public shows on the hill trying to grill the other party. Both sides are guilty of this.

suspending habeas corpus?
Wasn't that far fetched that older still on the books act was used. I made that very clear as to why.
-
suspending habeas corpus?
Pretty sure its more than "the admin just told us." And as I've stated numerous times in the Garcia case a immigration judge ruled he was likely MS-13. You do understand in immigration proceedings the level of proof for things like if they are in a gang is far less than in a criminal trial. Without an expedited removal process we won't be able to make a nick in it and the laws on the books at least the ERP they technically don't go to court but an hearing with an immigration official then bye bye. They don't get a long drawn out appeals process all with lawyers on the taxpayers dime.

suspending habeas corpus?
I don't care what you call it. It was on the books and I applaud the effort to remove people who care here illegally.....especially when they were criminals in another country or known gang members here. The last highly publicized group was just that. Let me ask you this....should a POTUS or admin not try to do one of the biggest campaign promises? Are you against removing illegals?
-
suspending habeas corpus?
FFS man....I can't tell if you are this fucking dumb or the bias has rotted your brain. EXPEDITED REMOVAL IS FOR PEOPLE HERE ILLEGALLY FOR 2 YEARS! THE ALIEN ENIMIES ACT DOES NOT HAVE A TIME LIMIT. BIDEN STARTED LETTING PEOPLE IN BY THE MILLIONS OVER 4 YEARS AGO NOW. TRUMP PLEDGED DURING THE CAMPAIGN THEY WOULD GO AFTER THESE GANG MEMBERS. ITS PART OF THE REASON THEY DECLARED THEM TERRORISTS ORGANIZATIONS. EVER HEARD OF THE WAR ON TERROR? THINK ISIS MEMBERS WHO SNUCK IN 3.5 YEARS AGO BUT NEVER COMMITTED A CRIME YET SHOULDN'T BE ABLE TO BE DEPORTED UNDER THIS RULE? ITS COMPLETELY RATIONAL TO ANYONE WITH HALF A BRAIN WHY THEY USED THAT ACT ON THE TIME ISSUE ALONE.

suspending habeas corpus?
Sure and this admin he's taking a different approach brought to light by the 10-12m plus let in by the Obama admin and the obvious growth in activities of Hispanic gangs. ICE or DHS probably starting looking into court cases or those ruled for removal....which he was just not to El Salvador.....and seen he was already ruled a likely MS13 gang member by a previous judge. This occurred in 2019 yet he had not yet been removed to another country.
-
suspending habeas corpus?
For people here since before a couple years ago? Fuck man you need reading comprehension help. The famous case of the ms13 guy I think Garcia was here since like 2012.
-
suspending habeas corpus?
Its like being on a merry go round...FFS guys they had just designated some gangs as what....terrorist organizations. Its not that far fetched to use that because the expedited removal act covers how long....2 years....when did Biden open the border....in 2021. I swear you can't see your nose in despite your face.

suspending habeas corpus?
"In 2020, the Supreme Court upheld this law, finding that it did not violate the right to habeas corpus or due process."

suspending habeas corpus?
"In 2020, the Supreme Court upheld this law, finding that it did not violate the right to habeas corpus or due process."
-
suspending habeas corpus?
Often does not equal only or solely. The LAW that the SC already ruled constitution does not state they have to be on the border. A district judge CANNOT make that designation. Yeah... I support this immigration plan but I'm going to argue it at every possible angle.
-
suspending habeas corpus?
Again the SC ruled the expedited removal process is constitutional....meaning due process. I swear its like talking to a brick wall.
-
suspending habeas corpus?
at the bold. You do understand that in order to fall under the expedited removal process that a few things have to have occurred. To name a few lied about immigration status, lie or make fraudulent claims to get in. If someone lied about certain things to gain a second citizenship in the US they SHOULD BE held accountable and available for expedited removal. I don't think the admin is talking about people who are ONLY citizens of the US.
-
suspending habeas corpus?
So is the expedited removal procedure unconstitutional? Seems to me its been practiced for some time and oh guess what? In 2020, the Supreme Court upheld this law, finding that it did not violate the right to habeas corpus or due process. Expedited removal has become a bedrock of the United States' processing of noncitizens, particularly at our southern border.
