Chocolate milk hahha FI bikes over fuel when engine temps are low. In normal snow I can keep the motor at 180-220, but in deep fresh snow it’s a struggle to maintain 100f, and that’s when fuel blows by into the case. Of course I could get an ecu mapped for snow, but they’re $1000 us, for the amount of times I ride snow like that, it’s cheaper to change out the oil. I’m doing it every 2 rides anyways. This is is one of the reasons bikes aren’t as popular as they could be. Most people aren’t willing to put in the maintenance time (Pic - motor packed with snow).

After two days of deep blower pow, had to do an oil change yesterday morning, and then back up the escarpment for an epic day of spring riding. Other than the big dump we just got, this was the worst season around here in 5 years. Maybe next year a real winter will make a comeback. Got my buds sled running again, he lost a hose clamp, so bailing wire it was. Haha

Best snow of the year around here, and basically 3 days to ride it. Let my bud try out my bike, he was pretty nervous to get on it, told him the learning curve is 5 min long, he ended up ripping around like a pro and looks like I’ll have a new bike partner next year. 😆

Previous owner installed a homemade temp sensor inline housing and it let go. This is his backup sled, i hope he gets it running, cause it’s supposed to rain here starting Monday.

Thankfully, this happened at the end of the day.

It was an epic dump. 3’ + in 48hrs. Drift lines were insane. It was a 3 goggle day. Last time I remember blower pow like this was 2008.
