Julys record temps weren’t a record “temp data was faked”

That phrase must mean something different where you come from.  Is that a metric thing?

From what I've read, it would take decades to rebuild a robust canopy sufficient to retain the sort of humidity that helps prevent these kinds of fires from getting out of control.  Plus, even if it did grow back, humans would probably just burn that down too.  It'll probably turn into more of a savanna rather than go back to rainforest.  Ooh, new business concept for chain theme restaurant, Savanna Café!!!

But yet the Global warming alarmists are OK with razing complete forests to put up wind and solar farms.

Growth starts basically immediately, starts producing 02 and absorbs a pile of carbon on the process

its not like it has to reach full maturity and then starts producing 02 and then starts absorbing carbon. That’s not how any of this works

How can you be this stupid? Congratulations for being good at something.

You’re calling me stupid but you think that plant growth doesn’t absorb atmospheric c02? Ummmmm

https://slate.com/technology/2016/06/going-solar-isnt-green-if-you-cut-down-tons-of-trees.html

"Local residents and environmental groups—including Clean Water Action, Crosswicks/Doctors Creek Watershed Association, Environment New Jersey, NJ Conservation Foundation, Save Barnegat Bay, and the Sierra Clubbeg to differ, claiming that razing nearly 15,000 trees will adversely impact water quality, air quality and sound quality; decrease the wildlife population; and affect biodiversity, as the state loses a section of forest known as the Pine Barrens. “As green as solar is, you don’t get a pass for chopping down a forest,” said David Pringle, campaign director for Clean Water Action."

"Environmentalists are in a position they never imagined: Fighting a solar panel project that would help Georgetown University dramatically reduce its greenhouse gas emissions."

This article is subscription only.  If you have a subscription to The Australian, maybe you can paste the article up here?  I bet the article, like the others, states environmentalists are opposed to the cutting down of trees.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/massive-east-coast-solar-project-generates-fury-from-neighbors-in-Virginia

"Hammond, an active project opponent, said the project would be an “an environmental disaster” for the area. Aside from the thousands of acres of trees that have been cleared, the Concerned Citizens of Spotsylvania group is also worried about water usage at the site, erosion, toxic materials, the potential for fires and the decommissioning of equipment if the project were discontinued."

Directly from each of your articles (see my notes on The Australian above) the greenies are most certainly not okay with this.

In July my smart thermostat said my temps in my zip code were 5 degrees cooler then July of 2018 and my central air ran 60 hours less in July then it did in July 2018

I get those reports too.  We were 3 deg warmer here on avg.  Average hi's were 4 deg hotter.

My savings in cooling went into my EV this year so the electric bill was essential the same.

The alarmists cry about forests being razed but yet they no longer want any other forms of energy production. That is my point, dufus. Up here, our Premier Ford cancelled a tree planting initive and the greenies went berserk but still advocate/push for solar and wind farms.

They still want green energy production and they prefer it be located in areas already devoid of trees.  Ever look down at the earth from the window of an airplane?  Lots of open areas.  Trees only occupy 30% of the earths land surface.  Lots of wind farms here in central IL and they basically grow corn or soybeans right up next to the windmills.

But yet they don't take into consideration of the costs of having these farms in remote areas. Wind turbines were originally meant to be installed our in oceans and lakes yet they aren't because the costs would be too high so they moved them inland and through fake studies, said they would have no impact on the environment, land or humans.

If you don't see the hypocrisy with this green movement, then I don't know what to tell you. Cry about forests being cut down, wildlife being destroyed and ecosystems being ruined but still push for zero emitting CO2 power sources and even non CO2 emitting Nuclear power.

Many of these idiots have no clue how we got here with our existence with power demand but yet they want something entirely different that simply won't work. Germany tired it and they had to fire their dirty coal plants back up again.

This whole movement is nothing but wealth redistribution based on a flasehood that CO2 is bad!!

You better tell Scandinavia that the costs for offshore wind farms are too prohibitive.

At least they are doing it right. Let me know what the electricity costs would be for us here in North America if we did the same thing?. Trust me, people would be out in droves complaining about the cost of electricity.

You do realize how small, both in size and population, Scandinavia is, don't you? :dunno:

The costs are competitive now and will only get better.  https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/1277637001

Scandinavia is like twice the size of California.

I don't think Irv has ever understood a link he has provided. One of his right wing conspiracy sites makes a claim and provides the link knowing that their semi-literate followers won't read the article.

He claimed that NASA admitted there was consensus on global cooling and provided an article that proved the opposite.

Now he's done the same with these articles.

Calgary is putting in Solar, it is becoming very competitive with fossil fuels. Thankfully there were forward thinking people or this never would have happened.

Pretty smart idea considering it was just tried very near there and failed miserably

Scandinavia is like twice the size of California.

If your talking about all three Scandinavian countries combined, Sweden, Norway, and Finland, they are about 10 times the size of Cali.  California has twice the population however.
