We rode there from my place...almost 1000miles in 3 days....and naturally was the coldest weekend of the year...had our room broken into in Creighton as well..

1000mi in 3 days fawk me . Most I did was 200 on my xcr . Never again . You did over 300 per day...damn lol. Shitty deal on the break in . Pricks . 

I also prefer super cold weather as opposed to mild ,call me crazy lol

My bv2s kept freezing up solid...never had that happen before or since..thank good for warm up shacks and post offices where i could get it to thaw out.

I got the heated shield on mine and it works just fine .

That would suck. I owned only one helmet without a heated sheild. .. never again lol

This had nothing to do with the shield...it was the part you blow into that was freezing solid.
