Platinum Contributing Member Highmark Posted January 17 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted January 17 (edited) Huge case. Maybe one of biggest cases in modern times taken up by the SC. Hopefully the conservative justices will slap down Fed govt power. Departments of the fed govt have become too powerful and basically are a 4th branch of govt now swinging the balance massively to the executive branch. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/supreme-court-prepares-decide-major-cases-over-power-federal-administrative-state Edited January 17 by Highmark
DriftBusta
Thanks to Trump, at least we have a conservative majority on the Supreme Court. Given that Biden‘s administration is trying to get Trump even removed from the ballot, the SC might be the last resort to ensure that doesn’t happen. Rod
Such a balance over states rights vs democracy remember if any state can ban any candidate for any reason they want, every state will ban any candidate that isn’t on their team

I beleive there is 2 different parts to it. One is power of the EPA, and other is NOAA monitering fee,s on fisherman. Or they may be 2 different cases.
