All these greenies bringing internal combustion to the desert in droves, often having flown in. Super anti-capitalist, but if you have $5000 a night, you can have a catered camp with butlers... The whole thing is such a ridiculous contradiction. It’s turned into a week of having a lot of fun. Long removed from its original purpose. Tons of guys make the trip there from Alaska. It’s become an annual overland expedition for them. They all got out just fine with their rigs. Although they got to play in the mud, which is something they didn’t expect.
