The Taurid meteor stream

It’s a stream of meteor fragments that the earth passes through twice per year. In June and November. You may have noticed it in the night sky before 

it’s theorized that it’s the remains of a huge comet that broke up twenty to thirty thousand years ago 

it’s readily accepted that it was responsible for the massive explosion and destruction over Siberia in the early 19OO’s 

It’s been theorized that it was responsible for the potential multiple devastating impacts that caused the last mini ice age called the younger dryas and extinction of the megafauna

I read where an extinction level object could lurk in an area that’s blocked by the sun brightness. Something having to do with the angle of the object’s trajectory.
