Myrtle Beach info

Recommended Posts

Headed tomorrow for a couple of weeks and wanted to know a little about the area from those who have stayed there. Looking for great local restaurants and entertainment venues. Staying in North Myrtle but the greater Myrtle Beach area is fine. Any info would be appreciated.

There is so many good places to eat down there Damon’s is one we usually go to it’s ocean front. Drunken jacks is good place too get the hush puppies. House of blues if you want to catch some live music. Broadway at the beach your lady will like for shopping and you can go for a ride in the jet boat 😉. There is a few old fighter jets you can go see near market common that’s cool. Tons of stuff to do fun place enjoy.

Avoid South of the Border if your driving down.  “Pedro says, don’t waste your time or money!”.

Fun area, was at the Air Force base for a month when it was open back in the 80’s.

Was there last April I loved it. Wife and I had a ball we stayed at the Coral Beach resort. First class diggs. Believe it or not the Golden Corral in Myrtle Beach has a excellent breakfast buffet. For Seafood the best buffet there is probably Crabby Mike's. If you like seafood Calabash style I guarantee you will leave there bloated. They have excellent fried oysters! Check out Ripley's on the boardwalk it's kind of a fun place. Enjoy!
