Corridor 13 closed from Wilton to the paper mill in Bennington. Sucks for anyone living in the area no way north for anyone in the Hollis/Brookline/Wilton area and over to Jaffrey/Rindge/Troy all have to use 13 as the only way to get north 😢

Do you ever ride the Hillsboro area. I was wondering what it is like as it is close to home and haven't tried it yet.

I use to ride Washington all the time years ago we’d unload at eccards farm and do loops out of there in any direction. Then when I bought my oldĀ houseĀ we’d just ride up to that area we take corridor 13 up from Jaffrey after work and ride around there. It’s been 3-4Ā years since I’ve rode NH but if there is snow the trails are good around there. Lots of winding woods type trails fun riding. Mt kearsage isn’t far from Hillsborough for some mountain viewing or the windmills over in lempster use to be a fun trail and break area.Ā

Any reasons given for the closure?

Something to do with the train companies insurance. That section from Wilton to the paper mill in Bennington has rails and is active in the summer. Doesn’t sound like it’s going to be open this season which sucks for a lot of people that use that trail to go north.
