The thing is the middle class moved out over the hill towards farm land and the wealthy bought up San Francisco among others. Cisco systems bought up big tracks of land down by San Jose and built there own city/towns for their workers. I can see tech companies taking over large pieces of Oakland but at this point it might be easier to just move to Texas or points beyond. I am not sure how many have been able to stay in the Bay area this long. A job worth a 100k a year leaves you almost homeless around the Bay. Pretty sure shoreline amphitheater is a googel parking lot not . To bad That was a pretty cool place to see a show.
