Picked up the 22 RR today.....and dropped it off at the dyno immediately after...........

 

Tore the ADAPT apart to look inside. Interesting in many ways.....

 

More to come once we get out of break-in and can start getting some pulls on it.......

Yes. The pipe made a good jump. And they are working on modifications to the pipe and flash to match with either a stock head or modified head. Will report results once it all gets worked out...........

Truth is, I think you’d be lucky to get a 800/850 sled with much more than 150hp out of the box.

Agree with the manufacturers' break-in programming ........ I agree out-of-the-box power is 140-150 across the board.  With Cat being on the lower end of that scale with the smaller displacement

Yeah, the power/reliability equation in which manufacturers  have to abide.

The latest was about 3 hp more (and a nice broad band) using the interchangeable dome head with LTS style heads......... but I didn't get a chart to post.

Waiting for some track dyno time now that some clutching parts are due any day now......

Yup, Riot pipe and tune.

He had some comments in the ACTR thread going on. 

Were you fiddling with the pipe on your HC or something else?

No.

I did do this today however..........getting rid of all the green plastics (and those hideous white skis) .... and ready for the wrap....... Went with the layout on the clutch side. Should look good with the RS windshield.....

Dyno time done? 

Wrapper looks great and the seat helps too.  Did you have the windshield wrapped or painted?

Curious about the windshield as well.  Looks a lot like the Roger Skime windshield.

It is a Roger Skime windshield..... one of the few non-signed ones that Cat sold as a replacement part....but sold out extremely fast........

I have gotten asked to sell it quite a few times....... been offered over $200 even....... but ...as of now especially.... it isn't going anywhere anytime soon.....
