BIR is unique in that they have the twisties and hold more then just one NHRA weekend and a bunch of locals weekend drag strip stuff. If you can find their full schedule, they probably have cars on a track 4-5 days a week all summer long. No not this weekend was saying the nhra weekend is a shit show. But yeah bir is a nice semi local road course. Hell I like to fill up the truck at 1 of the 2 stations on 371 there just for the sound efects lol

SayatodaU.P.eh?
The best thing to watch use to be bringing a newbie to the pits when they first fired the car and then especially when they use to bed in the clutch in the pits. Felt like someone socked you in the chest. The wife said her boobs even shook up in the stands when I took her to Norwalk.

All of the camp sites are full and every hotel, motel resort in the Brainerd area is full. https://www.birmn.com/ I hit at least one of the NHRA big races each year and will be this summer also. I used to go to Englishtown before they stopped running there. Always a great time. One of the few sports were you can walk around the pits and be a few feet from the crews, watching them tear down and rebuild the Nitro motors between every round. Nothing like Nitromethane in the sinuses during the engine run. 😀 Fox does the TV coverage these days. Usually FS1.
